Newlyn globally is also know for pioneering water colour paintings. Newlyn art gallery can be visited if you like art. Next to the gallery is Tolcarne beach. This is a stony beach with sand lower down when the tide is out. Sometimes you might see a seal sleeping in the water off the beach.
