Nice atmosphere, upscale, good food. Best to make reservations for weekend nights ahead of time. During busy seasons, they can book up a week or so in advance.

Peppercorn Grille is one of the nicer restaurants in Big Bear, and one of our favorites for special evenings, such as a birthday or anniversary. It's pricer than other restaurants and it's best to make a reservation.

“A family friendly pizza joint with good grub. The pizza has lots of cheese (yummy!), they have a kids' menu, and great portions all-around. There is a big brick oven at the entrance and record album covers adorn the walls inside. It gets VERY packed during busy times, and they don't take reservations, so go early or be prepared to put your name in and walk around the town for a bit.”
