Take a kayak on the lake famous for the swan scene in the Notebook and the swamp scene in the Patriot. Miles of walking trails. Dogs are allowed on leash in the off season. Butterfly garden, kids nature classes and tours, and the best place in the lowcountry for bird watching enthusiasts!

You can paddle a boat through the Black Swamp and see the gators. It's pretty cool. Plus, there are butterflies and Giant Turtles.
