The Burren is a large UNESCO world heritage site and there are many many places to visit here. Look up Poulnabrone, Hazelmountain chocolate factory and of course, the Perfumery, all within striking distance of eachother. Travel on to Ballyvaughan afterwards and take the coastal road back home. A stunning day out, all free.... Its not a bad option on a rainy day to take this excursion and maybe include the Ailwee Caves which are also closeby on this itinerary.

Beautiful setting country gardens and gift shop, great coffee and herbal teas. Tasty light lunches. Makes a superb cycle from our property passing by the holy wells and through Eagle's Rock.
