Between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, the Harkerville Saturday Market is highly recommended, where locals and visitors do their weekly shopping: organic vegetables, fresh breads, locally produced cheeses, home-cooked meals, fresh meats, jams and preserves…… and much much more. Enjoy a lazy breakfast under the mighty oak, then load up your basket with fresh produce. Don’t forget the local arts and crafts and speciality products including clothing, ethnic art, indigenous woodwork, jewellery, books, plants, flowers and skincare. Visitors from all over the world have enjoyed this market since the year 2000, come rain or sunshine!! Open every Saturday from 08:00-12:00 on the N2 midway between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. Ample parking available.

If you are in Plett over a weekend, then definitely make a turn at the Saturday Market. It is 12km from us and opens from 8am till 12pm. The local Park Run also starts and ends at the market at 8am. Great coffee, wonderful breakfasts and other eats as well as a very varied craft section and lively music. Great atmosphere and you can also buy some very fresh local veggies at incredible prices. Come say hi to us too... we sell the colorful hippie pants! To get to the market, turn left on the Airport Road and follow it all the way to the N2. Drive straight over the N2 to the Market Parking lot. It is open every Saturday come rain or shine from 8am till 12pm.

HAVING BREAKFAST AT THE HAKERVILLE FARMERS MARKET Harkerville Market is a rustic and vibey food and craft market deep in the heart of the Garden Route, midway between Plettenberg Bay & Knysna on the N2. Open on Saturday mornings only – the farmers breakfast is a definite have to, and if you can find the fudge lady – that ginger fudge – there are no words!!
