Kids need a break from hiking? Take them to Mountain State Mini Golf in Beckley. Their course is very unique...it's reminiscent of Hillbilly Golf in Gatlinburg. There is also hand dipped ice cream and a coffee shop on site, as well as an indoor climbing gym. This place has it all for an after-dinner excursion!

West Va themed mini golf course in heaving treed and naturally terraced area (behind the Outdoor In Climbing Wall). Each hole shares information on a different bit of WV legend, culture, or history.

This is a wonderful not-so-hidden gem in Beckley. After you play a game of mini golf or give the climbing wall a try, you can also get fabulous coffee in the same venue at the Chocolate Moose and relax in their unique, cozy space.

Located conveniently off the Harper Road exit on I-77, this place is a perfect spot for your kiddos to burn off some energy. With a putt putt course, climbing gym, and ice cream/coffee shop in one location, what’s not to like?!
