A multi-vendor shared space concept: New Scotland Yard cafe, Taz record store (yes, vinyl) and Elk's Hair salon. Hip, but super friendly. Owned by Hali-famous Canadian rocker Joel Plaskett, there is also the New Scotland Yard recording studio in the back building, so you never know who might run into. Occasional in-store shows. Good coffee and baked goods. Peruse the vinyl collection as you sip your fave. Get your hair cut (book ahead!) at Elk's, both men's and women's.
