Many feel that this, Paris' city hall, is one of the loveliest buildings. Try watching the light change on its roofs and towers from one of the cafés on the Ile de St. Louis, the Lutece for instance.

The Hotel de Ville is a beautiful Renaissane palace housing the city hall and the Mayor's office with frequent Paris-themed expositions. The facade is made up of 338 sculptures of famous Parisians!

On your walk through the Rue de Rivoli, you will see on the left side this nice Hotel de Ville. Often there are expositions of some kind of art, photographs etc for free.
