Over deze plek
When fairground travelers Antoine Harris and his wife came with the 1948 fair on the Place Jourdanplein, people were queuing non-stop to taste from their handmade fries. Because of this huge success, they decided to stay and open a proper business on the Place Jourdanplein.

Chosen by the Brussels people as the best friterie in town. During peak hours the waiting queue can be up to 45 minutes. You can take your fries to most bars on the square and eat them there.

BEST FRIES OF THE CITY ! Because you cannot visit brussels and experience French fries with a delicious beer on Place Jourdan. Most sourrounding bars will allow you to buy your fries from Maison Antoine and sit at their terrasse to order a beer.

Park
“The Parc du Cinquantenaire or Jubelpark is not only a park but a national landmark in Brussels. The name means 'Park of the fiftieth anniversary' and it was built during the reign of Leopold II to commemorate fifty years of Belgian independence. Symbolically, the Cinquantenaire Park in Brussels is built in the shape of a pentagon, like the inner and outer rings of the city. Cinquantenaire sits just outside the inner circle, and is close to the European Quarter.”
