Only 9.6 miles from Talladega Speedway. 8 miles to Logon Martin lake/park boat ramp. Down town Birmingham is 40 minutes, Oxford/Anniston 25mi. Mountain Cheaha State Park 25 minutes and what a beautiful view in the fall!! Great motorcycle ride up the mountain as well. Talladega National Forest 15 minutes. some of the best bicycle trails. The Goat Farm Yee-Haul at South of Sanity Farms

The start of this project was a box off a u haul truck. Now it is a cozy tiny home where animals come right up to the deck and you can enjoy sunsets over the pond. We love to have this place where families can come out and get away from the rat race of life and enjoy being out in nature. Guests are welcome to join us for whatever activities we are doing during your stay whether its working in the garden and harvesting fruit, or caring for the animals and milking the goats.

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains. Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.
