Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

The Bunker - Place of the stars

Rural retreat in Murdunna, the best kept secret on the Forrester Peninsula. A comfortable and charming open planned upcycled tiny home. Surrounded by a native garden and glimpses of water views across the bay. A short 2min walk to the water's edge. The use of Tasmanian timbers and re purposed materials makes the Bunker experience unique & memorable. The name Murdunna is believed to come from a local indigenous word meaning "place of the stars" Fur kids welcome 😻 we are fully fenced.

Experience the feeling of calm when you turn onto the winding private road that takes you to The Hide. Surrounded by forest, and set on the waterfront, the Hide provides an elegant refuge for couples. In a national park like setting and situated centrally, it is the perfect base for exploring popular Bruny Island. With so much to do on the property, as well as wider afield, we recommend a 2-3 night stay if you can fit it into your schedule.

The Bruny Boathouse is nestled on the waterfront with panoramic views across d'Entrecasteaux Channel, Satellite Island & Hartz Mountain propped up in the background. Centrally located in the township of Alonnah on the western side of Bruny Island, The Boathouse is an ideal place to base yourself for everything that Bruny has to offer. Though, giving you the independence to seek some time out.

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter.
