The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

Our spacious, first floor, two bedroom apartment in the beautifully quaint Churchtown Village. We have two large bedrooms (sleeps 5), kitchen, lounge & bathroom. We are situated in the peaceful village with shops & restaurants, a short walk to Meols Hall wedding venue. We are only 2 miles from Southport Town Centre and at least 4 famous golf courses. The apartment is above our cosy artisan coffee shop which is the perfect place for an amazing coffee & breakfast which you get at a discount.

Well presented with open plan kitchen, dining and seating area, leading to a king size bedroom and en-suite. Small dogs are with prior approval £10 per stay. This is a relaxing completely self-contained studio in very quiet surroundings yet only a few minutes walk from delicious eateries and quirky bars in Ramsbottom and Holcombe Brook. It is perfect for couples who enjoy the great outdoors (you can walk onto the West Pennine Moors from the house) or for those just looking for a private retreat in which to unwind.
