Riabhach enjoy a lovely, relaxing walk along the canal. It will take you to the Moorings Hotel where you can stop off for a coffee or lunch and the views of Ben Nevis and Loch Lochy are simply breath taking.

Approx 20 minutes' drive in the direction of Mallaig along the A830 road are the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Monument. Steeped in history, the monument commemorates the Jacobites and the infamous Jacobite Steam train travels along the viaduct, famously featured in the Harry Potter films.

A830 RdApprox 20 minutes' drive in the direction of Mallaig along the A830 road are the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Monument. Steeped in history, the monument commemorates the Jacobites and the infamous Jacobite Steam train travels along the viaduct, famously featured in the Harry Potter films.
The Jacobite Steam train is one of the main tourist attractions in Fort Wlliam. It runs from Fort William to Mallaig and back, mainly April - October and during Christmas. It's fascinating and beautiful and the scenery en route is unbelievable. Be sure to book in advance, as it is incredibly popular. You can walk to the train station in 20-25 minutes.

In the direction of Inverness, along the A82, the Commando Memorial is home to the most spectacular mountain view, including views of Aonach Mor, our ski and mountain biking resort. Do make time to stop off here, you won't regret it.
