It's the largest inhabited castle in the world, and an iconic UK landmark. It is great value for money, as you can spent the whole day between the castle and St George's Chapel. Your day ticket can be traded up for an annual pass free of charge; there's plenty to see if you come again. If you can possibly avoid it, don't go here on a Bank Holiday weekend, as it gets terribly busy.

World class walks in woods and by the lake, in HM the Queen's extended garden. It has good places to eat, and you can take in the formal Savill Garden within the park if you wish to pay extra, however, there are acres to explore without paying (including the immaculate Ascot Polo Ground).
