Walk the coastal path to Elie. 10km. Take a left at the bottom of the garden and follow the bay. Signs will direct you along the way. Feeling adventurous? Try the chain walk, a series of chains and footholds to climb over the rocks, not to be attempted at high tide!
Eat at the Ship inn or treat yourself to an ice cream from the van at the beach.
Elie water sports offer kayak or paddle board hire as well as windsurfing lessons.
Don’t fancy the walk back? Take the regular double decker bus. The views from the upper deck are great.

Nice pub grub. Good value steak night on a Friday. 20 minute woodland walk via the Serpentine path. Make sure you have a torch for the way back in the darker months!

Great little takeaway cafe just off Leven Beach
Access Leven beach via Drum Park lane. Two thirds along the beach towards Leven follow the 2nd sign post over the sand dunes, along the path cutting through the golf course. You’ll find the Cottage Window Cafe for beautiful cakes, toasties, coffee and hot chocolate. A real treat!
