This is also a must to see in Bratislava! The castle has been renovated, has calm atmosphere and awesome views to entire Bratislava and even Vienna in good weather.
To get there, walk 5 minutes to 'Kollarovo namestie' stop and take trolley bus number 207 (Kollarovo Namestie -> ZST Zelezna Studienka) and get off at 'Bratislava Castle' stop. This is an on demand stop so make sure to signal the driver.
On your way back, you've got 3 options:
1) You can go back the same way you came
2) You can take a different route and go and see St. Martin's Cathedral as well. Just put 'Dom Sv. Martina' into Google Maps and it will lead you through some nice historical streets all the way down.
3) You can go back to the stop you got off and continue all the way up to "Budkova" stop with either 207 or 203. From there, you can take a nice 10 minute walk to Slavin which is a war memorial and offers unrivalled views to Bratislava.
