Royal Parks
Excellent park for strolls, with a selection of cafes .
Kensington Gardens is also home to Kensington Palace, the Serpentine and Sackler Public Galleries. Next door to the Sackler Gallery is a restaurant.
Very close to our entrance to the park is a famous children's playground complete with pirate ship and elf tree. The playground is next to a coffee / sandwich stand.
Cross over the north side of Kensington Gardens and you enter Hyde Park - walk around the serpentine lake, with its row boats, and pass the Diana water Memorial. Also good for children in the summer.
The park is also good to walk through to get to other parts of london, such as South Kensington, Knightsbrige and Mayfair.

Notting hill is known for its vibrant coloured houses - that reflects its history. Notting hill, before it was gentrified, was home to a vibrant Caribbean Community, hence the annual Nottinghill Carnival in August. It is now home to Shishi boutiques and restaurants as well as a lively local pub and market scene.

Notting hill is known for its vibrant coloured houses - that reflects its history. Notting hill, before it was gentrified, was home to a vibrant Caribbean Community, hence the annual Nottinghill Carnival in August. It is now home to Shishi boutiques and restaurants as well as a lively local pub and market scene.
North Kensington might seem like a bit of a no man's land, but on the lesser-known end of Portobello Road is the villagey Golborne Road. With a wealth of places to visit, this thriving, multicultural community in W10 is the perfect place to head.
Golborne Deli is a local favourite brunch spot. Grab one of the tables outside to enjoy your scrambled eggs and coffee with a side of people-watching.
Enjoy one of the elaborate cocktails or a bottle of wine at West Thirty Six
West Thirty Six is a lovely four-storey townhouse serving grill-house fare in country pub-style surroundings. In the warmer months, they have a killer terrace that's great to place to enjoy long, boozy lunches with friends.
Have a cup of authentic Austrian coffee
Kipferl is a small but perfectly formed Austrian coffee shop and kitchen that does good coffee and a range of cakes based on traditional Austrian recipes.
Make sure you stop by one of the most famous vintage clothes shops in London, Found and Vision. It's loved by some of the area's celebrity residents, and is packed with designer bargains.
Try some proper pie and mash
Stop for lunch at one of the few traditional pie and mash shops left in the city. Local favourite Cockneys Pie & Mash cooks pie and eel dishes – it's the perfect lunch pitstop if you're in the area.
Visit any of their fantastic antiques store.

The Shed in Notting Hill first opened in 2012 by three brothers- a Chef, a Farmer and a Restaurateur, to bring slice of the Sussex Countryside to West London. The shabby chic interior, delicious, creative cooking and vibrant atmosphere has made the Shed a huge success among locals and visitors ever since.
Their menu champion’s local and wild British seasonal produce with the ethos of what grows together, goes together. They use all things wild, foraged, and locally grown including sustainable livestock from the Gladwin’s own family farm, presenting exciting small plates to share and enjoy individually.
