This urban village is located just 5 mins walk from the house. It has a café, ceramic workshop, farm animals, a duck pond, pony ridin, miniature golf and a free outdoor gym. It's perfect for a day out with the kids and there are lots of families around, especially during summer. It is a place where midsummer is celebrated traditionally as well as the welcoming of spring on the 30th of April each year. It also hosts a Christmas market in winter time.

This is a one of the busiest malls in Stockholm. It is 15 mins by bus from the house (with the bus stop just outside the house) or 6 mins by metro. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the mall and it is very conveniently located with a metro and bus stop right outside. This is also where the airport coach stops.

Old Uppsala is located a few kilometers away and has remnants of the old Viking civilization. There are mounds (almost like hills) that are Viking graves, a Viking museum and a very old Church as well a restaurant that serves mead. Uppsala is well worth a visit if you are in the Stockholm area.
