Beautiful beach with lots of views of the bay and some short walks. Fishing and a boat ramp. Also there is a really nice small museum if you are interested in nature to learn about Florida wildlife and fauna.

Go on an adventure for a fun day at Shell Island. The shuttle is nice and a short trip to the island will reveal a boardwalk to the beach after a short walk. Beautiful white sand and turquoise water on this sometimes secluded island preserve. Also enjoy seeing dolphins on the ride over and home. Bring lots of sunscreen, umbrella, water and food. As this is an island preserve it is very primitive there are no stores or any type of medical help.
