San Ambroso, Knysna’s Italian Church in the Gouna Forest where there is a beautiful building, take a picnic along. Even perfect for a rainy day outing.
Established in 1892, it was called the San Ambroso Church but has been renamed as the San Ambroso Chapel Museum. The Italians silk-farming intentions (mentioned in Daleen Matthee’s book, The Mulberry Forest) this failed but it’s wonderful to still have part of their pioneering history with us.

Judah Square is a Rastafari community situated in a small valley in Khayalethu South, a suburb of Knysna, a town in South Africa.
There are trained and registered guides to show people the community. Individual tourists and tour companies visit Judah Square.
You can book to eat some of the Rastafarian authentic food. I have gone in a group and we were even privileged enough to hear them "Jamming", a huge highlight.
