Public and free park for the conservation of the native flora and fauna of the region, as well as meeting place, recreation, creation and artistic and cultural awareness for the community. It was created and operated by the civil organization Flora, Fauna and Culture of Mexico, AC, in order to provide our community with a green space for healthy recreation and coexistence, thereby contributing to the social health of our city, Playa del Carmen.

El Fogon is arguably the best authentic Mexican food in Playa del Carmen. The restaurant's specialty is Pastor. Pastor (slow roasted pork) is not available legally in restaurants in the United States because it is not cooked at a high enough temperature. However, in Mexico, this is not an issue. At El Fogon, you can get a pastor taco for the US equivalent of 50 cents. Everything on the menu is delicious and reasonably priced. Four people can leave completely stuffed for less than 30 USD (total!!!!).

The chocolate is made fresh and is always fantastic. They also have a selection of brownies, white chocolate and homemade ice cream. Their small gift section has a nice selection of homemade Mexican chocolates to bring back home.
