Next to the old Anglican cemetery on the south side of the road are an interpretive plaque and stylized inukshuk commemorating the work of Canada's first Inuit priest, Simon Gibbons, who gained fame in Canada, the United States and Great Britain as a charismatic preacher and evangelist.
