There is *no lift/elevator* in the building. ★Some noise can be heard from the entrance to the building and the stairwell/hallway next to the apartment on occasion. ★NOTE★ This property can only sleep 4 people, maximum, regardless of age. The neighbourhood is central to everything and is situated in a mixed residential/commercial area. A short, 2 minute walk one block east takes you to the Kimberley Nature Trails which is great for the hiking enthusiast in the summer months and the cross country skier in the winter months. A grocery store is across the street, and with 4 restaurants nearby, including 2 right next door and 1 across the street, everything you need is within a few minutes walk. The swimming pool and the civic center, which houses the arena, are only 2 blocks away. The ski hill is only a short 5 minute drive away! The owners live on site and are available should you need anything at all.

Hill side chalet located on Kimberley Alpine Resort. Less than five minute walk to the main run at the resort. Walk up the road strap on your board or skis and you’re on the slopes Lots of Natural lighting giving the living space a bright yet cozy feel.
The main entrance to the house is attached to the carport area which enters into the lower floor of the house. The lower area of the house has the laundry room as well as the smaller bedroom with a single bed and dresser. The main bedroom you is upstaris which includes a queen sized bed, dresser and close access to main bathroom To access the main level of the house will require climbing of stairs. This level of the house offers the kitchen area, the dining room area has 18’ vaulted ceiling and a dining table. The living room is separated by a stair case and is where the dining area is. The dining area has a hide-a-bed which folds out to double bed for extra guests. The house is spacious with lots of room to store skis, snowboards and places to dry your gear.
The Chalet is right on the ski hill. Walk out the front door hang a left up the street and your on the main run at the ski hill. The run will take you to the main chair as well as the lodge to purchase any tickets. Summer guests have Trickle Creek Golf course only 2 minutes away.

Flashback to 1906, this cabin was in regular use in Yoho national park by the forest wardens of the day. As one of the warden cabins erected in the park by Tallon Creek, it was hand crafted using no power tools during original construction. This log cabin was taken apart piece by piece from its original locale before being transported to its resting place overlooking our pond. With the creek trickling past your window, often referred to as “Creek Cabin” it's a favourite of returning guests.
The space is approximately 120 ft square, with a beautiful custom log bed futon that can be folded into a couch during the day for lounging while also adding space within the interior for activities.

  • Unieke ervaring! De hut was schattig en rustiek. Als je een zachter bed nodig hebt, is dit niet het bed voor jou. Koelkast op zonne-energie beschikbaar in de keukenbus, wat een aangename verrassing was. Als je blijft als het kouder is, moet je waarschijnlijk het vuur de hele nacht stoken, dus bereid je daarop voor. Lory was prachtig en gaf ons enkele tips voor de omgeving. Zorg ervoor dat hut een goede aansteker heeft voor het vallen van de avond, zoals de onze niet. We staken een kaars aan in de bus en brachten deze over om dingen in de cabine aan te steken, zodat we de gastheer niet hoefden lastig te vallen.

  • Serieus een van de meest interessante en plezierige bosretraites die je je ooit kunt voorstellen. Het land is perfect en de gastheren zijn gewoon geweldig. Super schoon, de hutten zijn schattig en zeer goed gerestaureerd. Adam en Lory hebben hier ongelooflijk veel werk verzet en hebben echt voor alle basis gezorgd. De bus is zelfs beter dan je zou verwachten, alles werkt goed en de voorzieningen zijn perfect sanitair. Perfect voor een weekendje weg van het hectische leven in de stad.

    Well these are strange times...if you need to get out of dodge, this place will provide cleanliness, peace, and an abundance of sun. COVID worries? Fear not! All of our cleaners are infused with antibacterial essential oils - such as eucalyptus, cinnamon, and clove - and we sterilize all light switches, railings and door handles. You are in clean hands here. Stay well!
    The skylight condo is on the ski hill and gives you the option to ski from your door if you wish. There is a path behind the complex that leads to the main run (Quad chair). A 20 minute walk to the downtown core, and a 2 minute drive to Trickle Creek Golf Course. With 1 bedroom and less than 500 sq ft, the skylight condo packs an efficient punch with clever furniture, great storage and minimal clutter. Find your zen. Get your groove on with the Marshall Bluetooth speaker, play a game of crib, or build a puzzle. Maybe soak those sore muscles in the hot tub and do a little stargazing. 3 dry saunas on the property will get you sweating out any toxins in no time. Finally, snuggle into bed with Turkish linens and a wool/silk duvet...heaven. Summertime, where the living is easy... In the summer, a beautiful cross breeze from the ski hill to the Rockies provides natural A/C, and the private balcony with rocky views is a great place to start your day with a coffee, or end your day with the awe-inspiring alpenglow over the mountains. Lakes, golf courses and mountains are in every direction. Hike, bike, swim, paddle, golf and eat. You certainly won’t be bored. Huckleberries are on the ski hill in summer - but you’ll have to fight me for them because they are THAT amazing. The kitchen Salt, pepper, olive oil, and coffee are on hand in the kitchen to get you going. The answers I might have them...just ask!
    The skylight condo is situated smack dab on the ski hill. A 2 minute drive down the road takes you to Trickle Creek Golf Course, and a 2 minute drive up takes you to the cross country Nordic trails and nature park. The platzl (Kimberley’s version of a Bavarian town square) is a 5 minute drive away...this is where you’ll want to get some good eats (Pedal & Tap) and a new pair of beautiful shoes (Talaria).

  • Keri was een gracieuze gastvrouw! We hielden van ons verblijf in deze kleine plaats - het was meer dan genoeg voor ons twee! De locatie was perfect, midden in het resort en dicht bij de stad. Het golfen in de omgeving was uitstekend - ongeveer 7-8 nabijgelegen golfbanen. We vonden alles wat we nodig hadden en we hielden van de moderne updates, speciale zeepjes en prachtig beddengoed in het appartement. Het bed was super comfortabel en we genoten van het zitten in de avond na een lange dag met een glas wijn!

  • Boek dit apparaat meteen! De locatie is perfect - ver genoeg van de stad om te worden ondergedompeld in de natuur, maar toch op 5 minuten van letterlijk alles. De ruimte is stijlvol en comfortabel, het dek is geweldig voor koffie en cocktails, de keuken is zo handig en er waren overal zoete accenten. Keri gaf suggesties voor wandelingen in de omgeving, koffie (of bier) plekken voor wat werk dat ik moest doen en oplossingen voor hunkeren naar burrito. Geweldige gastvrouw, geweldige locatie, geweldige plek!

    An outfitting tent in a fenced off 1 acre site with fantastic mountain views. We are across the road from a boat launch on the Kootenay River (also a good fishing spot), and back onto hundreds of acres of Crown Land. 3 min to Wasa Lake (lovely sandy beaches), 30 min to Cranbrook and 20 min to Kimberley. The cookshack has a WOOD cookstove (stocked with plates, mugs, cutlery, and cooking implements). There is an enclosed shower space with a passive solar shower set up and an outhouse.
    9 lakes within 35 km! A birdwatcher's dream, we regularly see on our farm: bald eagles, turkey vultures, hawks, hummingbirds, western meadowlarks, woodpeckers, mountain bluebirds, and the endangered curlew! Locally there are wild turkeys, loons, swans, grouse, pheasant and many more.

    Our suite is located right beside the Kimberley ski hill- you can see the lift from our window and can ski out from our parking lot! In summer you can hike or bike right from our place. Our hotel-style suite is spacious and bright and has everything nice. We love to keep it simple and appreciate wood and natural colours. We hope you feel at home in our little sanctuary.
    The suite is adjacent to the rest of our condo, but separated with a connecting door, which we keep locked. Our bed is queen sized and our (retro) bathroom has a shower-tub combo. We provide your towels and toiletries. There is no TV but we have plenty of books! (and WiFi ;)). There is also a small table and two chairs. We offer a small fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee press, coffee/tea, as well as filtered water. Basic and comfortable!
    Our suite is part of a 3-building condo complex up at the Kimberley ski hill. One of the first-built and last complexes up the ski hill road. Super quiet and beautiful! Walking down to Kimberley takes about 40min. We'll show you which paths to take, so you can avoid the main road and have a lovely stroll.

  • Deze plek is perfect voor ons die weg willen van het drukke stadsleven en ontspannen zonder te storen. De plaats is zeer huisdiervriendelijk met veel ruimte voor hen om te spelen. Onze gastheer is ook erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We kwamen op een moment dat wildvuur overal is en ze hebben snel contact met ons opgenomen over de situatie. Ik zal zeker nog een keer blijven in de toekomst.

Gastheren zijn erg aardig, met een super coole locatie evenals een super lief kitty (die als kattenliefhebbers ons verblijf geweldig maakten!).     The neighbourhood is central to everything and is situated in a mixed residential/commercial area. A short, 2 minute walk one block east takes you to the Kimberley Nature Trails which is great for the hiking enthusiast in the summer months and the cross country skier in the winter months. A grocery store is across the street, and with 4 restaurants nearby, including 2 right next door and 1 across the street, everything you need is within a few minutes walk. The swimming pool and the civic center, which houses the arena, are only 2 blocks away. The ski hill is only a short 5 minute drive away! The owners live on site and are available should you need anything at all.

There is lots of natural light from the many windows, and enough room to store your skis, bikes, golf clubs, etc.

  • Drie nachten doorgebracht in The Burrow. Het was een zeer comfortabele en ontspannende plek om naar terug te keren na elke dag mountainbiken. Zeer schoon en een zacht comfortabel bed. Er is een inkomkamer om uw fiets voor de nacht op te slaan. Downtown is zeer dichtbij om te winkelen en eten / drinken inrichtingen. Andrew reageerde heel snel op alle vragen en was erg behulpzaam met aanbevelingen voor wandelroutes en een aantal goede plekken om te eten. Kijk uit naar het volgende bezoek.

    Our place is very quiet and peaceful, and just remote enough to make you feel like you are in the middle of no where. When the lights go out it is dark! you can see the stars, it is absolutely beautiful here. In the evening you can enjoy sitting on your decks or around the firepit with others.
    Lussier Hot Springs are 20 min drive away. Whiteswan Lake and Moose Lake are 15 mins away. Beautiful lakes for fishing, floating and swimming if you don't mind it on the cool side. Lots of walking and pedal biking trails and old logging roads. Horseback rides available onsite, must book ahead. Kayaks can be rented as well.

Our neighborhood has a beautiful river, access to many lakes and hot springs near by, and some of the world's best skiing within 1 or 2 hours. Plenty of dining and grocery options in nearby Kimberley, (40 mins away) Wasa, (20 mins away) Canal Flats (20 mins away) and Cranbrook (45 mins away).
  • Deze plek is geweldig! Super afgelegen locatie weg van de snelweg, maar binnen enkele minuten van vele meren en activiteiten. Het bijgebouw was fantastisch! Zeer schoon en zeer comfortabel. De site was mooi en erg privé van het lange weekend publiek. Zeer mooie rit naar de site en zeer ruim. We hebben geen van de activiteiten mogen doen, maar we zullen zeker terugkomen als we de kans krijgen om hier te blijven en het allemaal opnieuw te doen.

    Our beautiful little home in downtown Kimberley. Step outside the front door onto the Platzl (village stroll, no cars allowed). Shops, restaurants, bars, and FREE shuttle to the mountain (winter only) right at your doorstep. Yet, the lush bushes provide incredible privacy. The patio is large and cozy with a BBQ. The lower patio has a hammock surrounded by greenery giving a secluded feeling. Excellent for relaxing with a good book or warm afternoon nap. We also always have hummingbird visitors.
    Our place is newly renovated with a modern, yet rustic feel. It is an older home so everything is a little crooked and charming. You will have the whole space to yourself. Park right behind the house under a Shelter Logic (ideal for winter!) and stroll into your stand alone home right in downtown. We have one bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a futon which, can sleep two, but sleeps one comfortably, as well as a couch in the main room. We have a bunch of board games, a piano, an electric fireplace, and some books for your entertainment. We do have a screen that can be hooked up to a computer for movies/Netflix. However, TV isn't really our thing so we don't have cable. This is our home when we aren't renting it so we ask for respect and love when you use it.
    Talk about location, location, location! You honestly can't get better then this! A full stand alone home, with privacy, in downtown. All the shops and restaurants available to you. In the winter a free shuttle that is just steps away goes up to the ski hill.

We wilden echt dat we niet bij Lake Loiuse hadden verbleven en liever ons verblijf in Brian's hadden verlengd en naar Randium Springs zijn gegaan en een dagtocht naar Lake Louise hebben gedaan.   • De plaats van Brian was geweldig. Het is vlak bij het centrum van de stad, maar ook rustig en privé. U kunt recht naar de fietspaden rijden. De plaats was schoon en ruim. Op loopafstand van geweldige restaurants. We waren daar in het hoogtepunt van de zomer, maar het was leuk en koel als een kelderplaats. Grote waarde.

Goed geslapen en 's ochtends een 5 km lange wandeling de berg op genomen - prachtig!     Kimberley has endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. While it may be best known for its skiing and golfing it also boasts fantastic mountain biking trails, Nordic ski trails, hiking and trail running and water sports such as kayaking and rafting. Come see for yourself how much fun you can have here! The condo is located on the ski hill for easy access (3 min walk) to the lifts and ski hill facilities such as bars and restaurants. If you prefer to hrad downtown and check out all it has to offer then its only a short 5 min drive or 15 min bike ride. There is a trail system that starts just outside the building to allow easy access to town by foot or bike if you don't have a vehicle.
