The second floor is of this newer home is where you will have either one of three rooms with private bath or a room sharing 2.5 other baths. We have double or single beds. You will have access to kitchen, dining room and comfortable living room. Roof access, spacious living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and large parking area are included. Behind the house is a quaint, traditional washing space where you can learn to wash your clothes like a local. Laundering services are also available in nearby Puerto Quito.
Each bed has mosquito netting and a dresser. Three of the bedrooms have a private bath. Two other baths are shared and have a shower. The half bath has a toilet and sink.
The expansive nature of the cacao farm allows for privacy at this facility. Located along Via Cabuyal Silanche and boardering the Silanche river. If guests are ever in need of local advice or assistance, however, the caretaker lives just across the way. Nearby Puerto Quito, which is home to several exceptionally fresh bakeries, a public fútbol joint, and an quaint tienda that sells delicious fresh Maracuyá popsicles, is about a 15 minute drive from the farm.
Within about 1 hour from the house you can be in places like Mindo, Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas, Rio Silanche Bird Sanctuary, Milpe Bird Sanctuary, Cascadas Verde, Cascadas Azul, Rio Blanco, Rio Caoni and many more attractions.
The Rio Silanche (Silanche River) boarders the property and can be accessed by walking a very short distance from the house.
A recent guest is a birding enthusiast and claimed that we have every variety of birding opportunities on the farm as some of the nearby bird sanctuaries.
