“Soma is a really cool place! I prefer to go there during night-time because it gives you a great vibe, but you can go there for brunch or a drink during the day as well. But, if you want to have a good night out (before clubbing), go to Soma and have fun!”

History Museum
“Well, something that tourists do (but I as a local have never done it) is to go and visit our National Museum. I can guide you how to go there, but I have no idea what's inside: what I've heard though, is the ideal place to put yourself in tourists' shoes and immerse in Kosovo's archeology, history, nature, and folklore.”

“The best club in the country. Lookout for the electronic series nights, DJ's such as Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, Seth Troxler, tiNi, Raresh... You're very lucky if you're in town for the series.”

Museum
“This wonderful annex of the Museum of Kosovo is located in two beautifully preserved Ottoman houses enclosed in a large walled garden. The English-speaking staff will give you a fascinating tour of both properties and point out the various unique pieces of clothing, weaponry, jewellery and household items on display in each. There's no better introduction to Kosovar culture (Source: Lonely Planet, 2017). If you are in the neighbourhood, do pass by the green market. Men and women from surrounding villages travel to the city market everyday to sell their fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Absolutely delicious!”

Theater
“National Theater of Kosovo was founded in October, 1946 in Prizren. This was the first professional theatre in Kosovo after World War II. It was firstly named "The Regional Populist Theater" then the "Provincial Populist Theater" until 1999 when it was finally changed to "The National Theater of Kosovo". After a few months after the establishment, the theater was moved to Pristina, the capital city of Kosovo. The theatre is of a national character, as such, it is funded by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo.”

Stadium
“Initially known as "Boro and Ramiz" was designed by a group of architects headed by Zivorad Jankovic, Halid Muhasilovic and Sretko Eshpek. The youth and sports complex, although it has lost its initial purpose of serving Prishtina youth, is of great importance to the Prishtina citizens, especially to the older generations, as funds for the construction of the center were donated by them. For a number of years Prishtina citizens had to give half of their income for the construction of the center. According to the original plan the complex was supposed to have a swimming pool, tennis courts, football pitches and other sport fields. After the was the building was badly damaged by a fire and as a result the grand sports hall still remains unused. According to the head architect of the project, the roof of the center was supposed to symbolize the peaks of Sharr Mountains.”

“A big mall near the city. There should be a bus from the main roundabout, but if not you can always take a taxi for about 3-4 EUR.”

“A house-turned-bar venue. With an amazing backyard, M Club is the place to visit when you're out for a good time. Try the absinthe, my personal favorite. The coolest bar in town by far. ”
