“It's so close - just take the shortcut through Summit Woods and a quick walk through Montreal's fanciest neighborhood, Westmount. You will arrive at the Oratoire's back entrance and go through its beautiful gardens in order to reach the front and the breathtaking view of Montreal available from there. You can also take a peek inside and, why not, squeeze in a work out session by taking the many (many many) stairs up and down. ”

“One metro stop from my place. Many music festivals during the summer, the famous Osheaga, Heavy Montreal, the Piknic Electronik. The Formula 1 is also held there so when there is the track that can be used for cycling or rollerblading. A (usually) crowded beach is on the islands, the Casino, the Biosphere and just walking you can regularly spot groundhogs in the lawns. Foxes and skunks can be seen rarely.”

“The Chalet is actually not the main attraction, its the 180 degree view of the city. Take Serpentine path , or Camille Houde trail to access the Mont Royal Chalet , the paths along the way will also make you pass by Beaver lake ( how Canadian eh ! ). You can lounge / run / bike here during the summer or have some winter fun on the outdoor ice rink.”

“Mount Royal Park one of the city’s largest green spaces, making it a popular outdoor recreation spot. This 200-hectare park includes part of the mountain that resides in the middle of the city. At around 230 metres (764 feet) tall, it’s really more of a hill than a mountain, but it marks the highest point on the island of Montreal.”
