“Truly the first-of-its-kind in Asia, Vana Nava Water Jungle proudly presents a collection of the “Firsts in Thailand”. Definitely, The AbyssTM, shaped like a giant megaphone, is the world’s largest waterslide and the only one in Thailand. Vana Nava Water Jungle, Asia’s First Water Jungle is located in Thailand’s most beloved resort town of Hua Hin. As the first ecologically aware community water park in the region, Vana Nava Water Jungle has literally transformed an empty plot of land into a tropical jungle, with over 200,000 plants and trees delivered from across Thailand in its 20 rai (3.2 hectares) property. The water park also features the country’s longest slide, BoomerangoTM. “Situated in the Hua Hin centre between the Petchkasem Road and the railway line, the market basically encompasses one street that comes to life from 18:30 onwards, when traders line the street with their stalls selling various apparel, crafts, art, CDs, DVDS and cheap, tasty food – generally what you might expect from a Thai market. ”

Natural Feature
“Hua Hin has evolved over the years from a sleepy fishing village to a popular retreat. The town retains its quaint personality – the idyllic backdrop of white sands and the clear blue sea on one side and a delightful blend of cultural and natural attractions both along the coast and further inland. Huahin is retained a relaxed, wholesome atmosphere sometimes not found at Thailand's other popular beach resorts. A range of water sports is available, there are eight golf courses nearby, and when the sun goes down there are numerous bars, pubs and local discos offering drinks and entertainment. Restaurants are plentiful too, offering a wide range of cuisine – from traditional Thai to international favourites. With the combination of pristine coastline flanked by a charming town that offers lots of interesting attractions, it’s no wonder that Hua Hin has steadily become such a favourite with especially couples and families. ”

“We always enjoy a visit to this great night market that's open six nights a week ( closed Tuesdays). The market is medium sized but has a good range of stalls selling items at very fair prices. The general atmosphere is very relaxed and you can browse without feeling obliged to make a purchase. Around the outside of the market there is a good range of inexpensive food stalls and at the top end there are a small number of covered stalls, restaurants and cafes. Our favourite stall is the crepe maker at the entrance to the market ( near the Hua Hin Road). There is live music some evenings too. Well worth a visit even if just for a short while!”

“One of the top rated Sea Food pier restaurants in downtown Hua Hin. It is open air dining on a large wooden pier over the ocean. It's a great experience with some excellent dishes. The street, however, is narrow and congested and parking is almost non existent unless you get real lucky.”
