Net appartement net achter de drukke hoofdstraat. Met hardwerkend en zeer attent personeel!

Wij zijn op deze plek terecht gekomen op een bijzondere wijze. Tijdens ons verblijf in Ubud kwamen wij Marco en zijn familie tegen in het zelfde verblijf als wij. Ook zij hebben behoefte aan vakantie. Na een aantal leuke gesprekken kwamen wij er achter dat zij deze ruimte verhuurden en sinds wij nog een opening hadden in onze planning boekte wij deze ruimte via Airbnb. Bij aankomst werden wij weer vriendelijk onthaalt en kregen een kleine rondleiding van Lisa. We kregen toegang tot de keuken omdat wij een kleine bij ons hadden (1,5) en dat maakte ook dat wij ons er erg thuis voelde. De bungalow is erg gezellig maar vooral authentiek. Iets wat gehorig, mede door de tijdelijke verbouwing van de buren, maar dat hoort er bij. De douche/toilet zijn half overdekt en heeft ook zeker zijn charme. Warm water is er niet om te douchen maar door de verwarming van de zon is het echt goed te doen. De ligging is ideaal. 2 min lopen van het strand en net ver genoeg om niet gestoord te worden in de nacht. Ondanks dat wij er twee nachten verbleven hebben wij een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Nette, ruime en schone kamer. Ook de badkamer buiten was heerlijk!

Rumah Cahaya is a terrific choice for accomodation on Gili Trawangan. An easy walk from the beach - 3 mins - and thus enjoys a quiet atmosphere away from the crowds of the beach road. With only 5-6 units it is quite small, and has an intimate feel. The units are joined by a small beautiful garden. We had rented the Lombong Bungalow, which has a great choice: simple, clean, stylish, with good daylight from either side and of course the essentially an aircon unit. The bungalow has a fine "open" bathroom, fully enclosed by walls and fully private, but with an opening to the sky. Every morning, the girls served a beautiful breakfast on the little private balcony. We simply loved the pancakes :) Marco and Lisa was not present during our stay, but their staff has been amazing. The girls was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. A small note: one night we spotted a 7-8 cm scorpion in the bathroom. Probably a consequence of the "open" bathroom. We did a bit of reading on the critters, and it does not appear to be extremely dangerous, but the encounter certainly woke us up. We caught the little intruder under the soap bowl, and in the morning the staff was helpful in disposing with the little fellow.

Marco and Lisa are really nice and professional hosts. They gave us all the tips we needed to start on Gili T (best restaurant, normal prices for activities...). The room is clean, lovely and comfortable, plus there is hot water and a good aircon. It's well located, 30 seconds from the mainstreet by bycicle. We definitely recommand this place on Gili T !

We had a wonderful stay at Rumah Cahaya! The bungalow was very nice, clean and decorated with taste. The breakfast is served on the terrasse of the bungalow. You should definitely try the banana pancakes which are delicious! Lisa an Marco were also very nice, they provided us with the magic map of Gili T where they marked all the nice restaurants and placed that they recommend. We highly recommend the Rumah Cahaya bungalows :-)

Wow wat een idyllisch huisje op een idyllische plek hebben Maela en Sam! Het uitzicht vanaf het terras, je bed en vanuit de badkamer zo ontzettend mooi en onvergetelijk. Vanaf het moment van boeken heb ik meerdere keren via de mail contact gehad met Maela. Ondanks dat zij op dat moment in Italië verbleef, en dus het tijdsverschil, kreeg ik binnen enkele uren een antwoord. Ook het contact met Sam verliep vlekkeloos. Zijn met hem op snorkeltour geweest, was erg mooi en goed geregeld. Op aanraden van Maela gegeten bij Mahammaya, echt heerlijk. De mini rijsttafel en de lemon cheesecake, te lekker. Maela en Sam bedankt dat jullie je paradijsje met ons gedeeld hebben.

Sam wachtte op ons om het huis te laten zien. Het huis was schoon, de airco stond aan, strandlakens lagen klaar. Het strand onder en naast het huis was prachtig en de zee aantrekkelijk. Vanaf het grote terras heb je een prachtig uitzicht. Denk aan waterschoenen vanwege het koraal op het strand en in het water. We hebben hier een heerlijke rustige week gehad.

I was looking for a location for filming a 'paradise scene' for our movie and I found exactly when I imagined when I was writing the script. It is a little piece of heaven with a private little house on the water. The host Maela's communication was excellent, prompt and extremely helpful. Sam's help on the island was fantasic as well. Hosts and locations are just so important when you want to spend an ideal time on the place. The location is more than ideal and the hosts make your stay effortless. Would highly recommend it to couples, friends who want privacy and to enjoy the calmness of Gili Meno.

This beach front Hut is literally paradise on earth.... its by far the best place to stay on Gili Meno - we walked all round the island so we know :) Maele and Sam and their little baby were amazing hosts - carrying our bags and letting us know about transfers to Ubud afterwards Staying here is a must!!

We stayed for 1 night. The property is right over the sea, it looks even more beautiful than on the pictures. We found it very spacious and the shower room and the bed were very comfortable. The views were absolutely spectacular and we watched the sun rise over Lombok from our bed! Sam was extremely helpful and friendly. The house is so special that my boyfriend coudn't help himself and proposed to me on the sunbed in front of our own intimate view of the sea :) We had a great time and we have a perfect excuse to visit again as this is a really special place to us. Maela's house was an even better experience than the photos or reviews stated. We had an incredible and low-key stay during our honeymoon. Both Maela and Sam were incredibly responsive and helped us organize day trips, special restaurant reservations and were incredible hosts. I would highly recommend staying at Maela's beautiful home on the water if you're thinking about heading to beautiful Gili Meno. Thank you Maela and Sam!

Maelas house is probably the most beautiful house in gili meno. We really enjoyed our stay with the best view of the ocean. There are good restaurants close to the house (only a few minutes to walk) and it is also near the harbor. Even though the journey from bali to gili meno takes very long (car + boat to gili trawangan + boat to gili meno, around 6-7 hours) it is definitely worth to visit! (The beaches and the clear water for snorkeling are awesome) Big thanks to Maela and Sam

The stay here was amazing. The hosts were really helpful and nice. The room was very clean and beautiful you can feel here like at home. You can feel the nice atmosphere in the evening sitting in your private swimming pool. I can really recommend staying here, the hosts give you a lot of information about the island like nice restaurants and beaches. A big YES !

Sehr neues und sauberes Zimmer, mit einem süßen Bad (alles vorhanden was man braucht) und einem entzückenden Außenbereich. Besonders der WIRKLICH private Pool ist hervorzuheben. Auch der Service und das Frühstück waren super. Da die Insel nicht groß ist, ist es egal in welche Richtung man geht und man ist trotzdem in wenigen Minuten am Strand. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall empfehlen!!

If you're looking for a romantic, or quiet gateaway, Gili Meno is a perfect spot. In terms of accommodation, there are a number of options. We were lucky enough to stumble on Meno Suite on airbnb. Now, having been there, and checking out other offering, I am so glad we stayed at Meno Suite. It is not a bungalow on the beach, but having in mind that the beach is within 10 min walk if you're anywhere in the island, it does not play a huge role. On the other hand, for us the location worked great, as it was quiet, there was a feeling of being among the locals, and we had privacy. as there is a nice fence around the garden. Having your private pool is also awesome. Even if the beach is beautiful, and close, it's great to get out of bed and dip yourself in the pool. As a last thing, the staff was just great. Extremely polite and kind, tending to any need we had. We highly recommend Meno Suite, and wish we would come back soon.

I had a great great time in this villa! The Villa was perpect!!Amazing!!more than picture!! Great breakfast, cool air conditioner, latest movies, great pool, hot and cool water shower, big and cozy bed and there is a kitchen in front of villa. So if you want to cook that is ok! First of all, the host of Villa is the best! Kristin and her husband were very kind and helped me a lot. I wanted a bicycle with a big wheel, They gave to me!!and last night they took me to a great sunset bar and i hung out with their good friends. It was a very great time! If you stay this villa in meno, you'll have a great time!! Thanks Kristin!!

We had a great stay! The pool was really nice and everything brand new! - Great strong shower - Great pool - Very nice lounge area And the guys working there are really really nice! It just a 3 min walk to the beach. It is a nice place to hangout and really get relaxed with some privacy. I would recommend it for sure!

Very central location is absolutely brilliant, without being too noisy from the Main Street. The view from the room is stunning, looking right out over the ocean and the outside balcony is great to sit and watch the sunset. Room and bathroom were great and exactly as described. Ideal flat for Gili T as it is in the main throng of the action. Would thoroughly recommend.

This place exceeds expectations because it is even nicer than the pictures. We really enjoyed staying here especially with the shop downstairs and Heri never too far away. The room was very comfortable and just really well done up- we have already started recommending it to others travelling to Gili Trawangan. The location is ideal and it's just a great set up.

Nina's room was spectacular - it was exactly how it looked in photos. Her residence manager was there to welcome us and was so kind to help us carry both our luggage to our room. The room was the cleanest I've ever seen at a beach resort and it was only a 5-min walk away from the happening part of Gili T. Would definitely love to stay here again should we visit Gili T in the future!

This place was really wonderful. Everything is so close to walk to. The room was clean and quirky. Our favorite was sitting on the deck watching the people and horse carts go by. AC and hot water worked great. No complaints! Truly relaxing and quiet at night even though live music was only a couple bars down, and the boisterous areas are only a short walk further. Thank you for a great stay.

This place is amazing! Hopefully, we will return one day. Very nice balcony with a view of the ocean. Most of this strip of Gili T can get pretty crazy, but this location is just far enough north. We were fortunate to be overlooking one of the less intense bars. There was a nice acoustic guitar player playing instead. The description was very accurate and the room was very comfortable. While Nina wasn't there, she warned us of this in advance and Kiting helped us with everything (he was always around when we needed him!). There was also a nice personalized guidebook in the room waiting for us. Bed was comfy, Wi-Fi worked, solid air conditioning, all the bathroom essentials, beach towels, kettle/coffee/tea, and more. Kiting helped us rent snorkels and bikes. The room is above a jewelry shop, with a space in the back where they hold jewelry making classes. If we had had more time, we definitely would have stayed there.

Nina's place is perfectly located on Gili T. It is one of the only places near the main drag that actually has a view of the ocean, maybe one of the few on the island. It is beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, much nicer than the hotels and villas I saw. The porch looking over the Main Street and beach is so wonderful, equipped with a kitchen, a day bed and several stools next to the beautiful wood counter looking down at the beach below. It's the perfect place to sit and read during the day or invite friends to gather before going out for the night or for one last drink before bed. The room is located above a jewelry studio where you can design and craft your own silver jewelry, it's night to see tourists working away when you come and go. As Nina mentions in her post its right next to the temple, and the call to prayer is difficult to sleep through without ear plugs. In general you are closer to the beach and the Main Street with bars and restaurants than many places- so you get the cool breeze and a great view but it is somewhat louder than your average villa that's further inland. For me this was completely worth it. I can't recommend this place highly enough, it is totally unique for Gili T and totally made my trip to be able to stay there.

This little apartment is so well thought out. It has everything you could need and is located right on the beach next to Gili Cafe (fantastic banana Nutella crepes!) and the best part of the beach. The outlook from the tranquil outside kitchen and daybed is picture postcard perfect.

We booked the villa for our honeymoon. We arrived at the evening. We got a pick-up from Gus, the fanstastic villa manager. He prepared a romantic candle night at the villa. We stayed there for 7 days and Gus has cared about us every day. It was perfect to have someone like him! He is a very nice guy! The villa is so big and great. It is beautiful to jump into the pool or just relax in the hammock. The bed and the pillows are very comfortable. The outside bathroom is very luxurious. The kitchen is fully equiped with all things you need. You can use the fruit mixer to make fresh drinks. Gus fills up the fridge with beer and softdrinks. So you can use it for a very fair rate. The fresh water is filled up for free. Thank you Gus, Shelly and Brendon for our beautiful stay at your villa!

If you’re looking for a place that feels like paradise on earth, then Kubu Shanti is perfect. We enjoyed our quiet time at Villa Shanti so much that we ended up extending our stay by a few days. Shelley is a wonderful host. She was very helpful with tips for the island and friendly and easy to communicate with. She seems to truly care whether or not we enjoyed our stay. She even had a welcome basket with fruit and snacks ready for us, which was a really nice touch. As others have mentioned, Gus is the caretaker of Villa Shanti and lives on the property. He too is very helpful and friendly. He met us at the harbor upon our arrival and arranged for a horse and driver to take us to the villa. He also helped us get our boat tickets sorted out for leaving the island. If we had any questions, he was always available to help us out. Gus keeps the villa spotless and even had pineapple smoothies waiting for us upon our arrival at the villa. He’s truly warm-hearted, and we felt sad saying our good-byes to him. The villa itself was ideal for us. If we were to own a villa in paradise, we’d like it to look just like this one. The bed and bedding are wonderful. The kitchen is spotless and stocked if you want to do your own cooking. The pool is beautiful, clean and refreshing, and the grounds are very well cared for. The pictures don’t do the grounds justice, as there is more greenery growing now since the pictures were taken. We loved having the bikes to ride around the island for incredible snorkeling. We also rode them to various beach front cafes and restaurants. Everything is very close riding distance to the villa. The south and western parts of the island are also easy walking distance. One thing I must mention as well - I forgot my necklace at the villa. Both Gus and Shelley have been incredibly helpful in getting it returned to me, which is no easy feat being on a tiny island in Indonesia. We loved our stay at Kubu Shanti and hope that we can make it back for a longer stay in the future!

Villa Shanti has been the highlight of our vacation. Gili Meno is magical and the house is new, super clean and beautiful. In a hidden area, very quiet and yet 2 minutes from the south part of the beach. I slept like a baby, comfortable bed and spacious house and a lot of good energy. To top it off, Gus is a wonderful person who keeps the place spotless and very helpful on anything we needed. I recommend the place to anyone that wants to have a perfect time at Gili Meno. I will come back!

Wow... what can I say... Villa Shanti is an amazing place on a magical little island and Shelley and Brendan are such great hosts. My partner and I stayed for 5 nights on our recent trip for my 30th Birthday. The accommodation really is exceptional - real beautiful luxury. We stayed in a number of 5 star accommodations during our time in Indonesia and found none were as enjoyable as Villa Shanti. The thought and love that has clearly gone into putting every detail together means that Villa Shanti is not only finished to the highest standards but every detail you would expect to find is taken care of and so much more. Location means most parts of the island can be reached within 10-15 minutes on foot or by bike (cycling is fun and safe on the island but look out for some of the smaller roads:-)). A huge thanks to Shelley and Brendan - Wonderful people and great hosts who made our stay and my birthday so magical and special. Really helpful from the moment of booking until making sure we got back to Bali safe and sound. It was nice to know they were looking out for us. Thanks too to Gus - sweet and kind and looked after us so well during our stay. This secluded corner of this special Island has stolen our hearts and we hope to be back one day soon! Villa Shanti was a highlight of our trip to Indonesia. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and everything was of a incredibly high standard. It is a truly exceptional place. Gus looks after the villa. He took great care of us from the moment we met him at the harbour, until the moment we left. Shelley and Brendan were very responsive and extremely helpful. We could not have asked for better hosts. The island itself is beautiful, and the guide book in the Villa is very helpful recommending good restaurants, dive centres, and other useful information about the island. The pool is lovely, and the whole villa is stunning and very well equipped. We wished we'd could have stayed in Villa Shanti for longer, it was a little slice of paradise. We would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Shanti to anyone looking to stay in Gili Meno. We hope we will be able to return in the future!

This place is awesome. The private pool is the highlight of its all. The hosts are very friendly and will answer any quenstion. They create a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The room and bathroom are clean so you can eat from the floor. The area around is very quiet and peaceful. Only the island of Gili T will be heard sometimes. The beach to enjoy a beautiful sunset is a 3 min walk away and offers good and affordable restaurants. The suit will be found easily from the harbour as there are signs that lead you fast to the suit, this takes about 15 min. All in all we had a great time at Meno Suits. This place is highly recommended. Thanks to Kristin, her family and the staff.

Meno Suites is a fantastic place to stay! The space is very well decorated with a very comfortable living space, great bed and pillows, modern and clean bathroom plus a very refreshing private pool that we used a lot. The staff are very attentive and the breakfasts are fantastic. It is definately worth booking a stay here!

Gili Meno suits is the place to stay in Gili meno, truly one of my best airbnb experencies so far! The staff was always smiling, helpful and friendly. The hosts are amazing people and may us feel right at home and a part of the family, we had a lovely fresh seafood diner with them and they provide us with everything that we needed and more! I will come back here most definitely!

Beautiful place! We loved our stay! The staff were very friendly and prepared a nice breakfast. Kristin was very responsive and gave great recommendations, even though she wasn't on the island at the time. Unfortunately we didn't have any hot water the first night and the wifi didn't work on the second day, but after informing the staff these issues were quickly taken care of. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Meno suites!! It's really lovely and so central to everything. Kristen and her team are amazing hosts and make sure you have everything you need. When you walk into the room, it's your own private paradise. It was so relaxing just sitting around the gorgeous outdoor area and swimming in the pool. There was some building work going on next door but as soon as I mentioned this, they went next door and ensured the builders would not be making a lot of loud noises...really appreciated this, thanks! The breakfast is really nice too! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks to Kristen and the team :)

We loved the apartment. It exactly looks like it looks in the pictures. For me it was the best hotel i stayed in Bali so far. Everything was so cool and the breakfast was good. The staff was so nice and brought us some fruits. If you are a backpacker and you don't want to take a Cidomo you have to walk a little Bit, but this was no Problem. All in all we only Booked one night and we werde said to leave. And i have to say i was very surprised, that there was so much Hot water and that the wifi worked so well.

Is a beautiful place to calm down und relax. It was a amazing stay. I'd recommend it to my Friends.

Super tolle Unterkunft! Die suites sind etwas im Landesinneren total ruhig gelegen. Traumhaft schön mit eigenem Pool und einer Open Air Küche, ein tolles Badezimmer und ein super schönes Schlafzimmer, alles war herrlich. Die Angestellten konnten zwar nicht gut englisch, man konnte sich aber trotzdem gut verständigen. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und würde immer gerne wieder kommen :)

Frank and Kristin offer a place that provides excellent value for money. The island is quite, the location is brand new and very clean. Frank was an excellent host that took us on a snorkelling trip. We would highly recommend his place to anyone visiting the Gili's.

Meno Villas is an amazing place : clean, modern, quite, beautiful... all you need to have a wonderful stay in Gili Meno! I really appreciated the private pool, the very good breakfasts, the shower clear (and not salted) water and the fresh fruits during the afternoon. Frank and Kristin are awesome hosts, I highly recommend this accommodation for your travels and holidays in Meno!

Housing is located in the center of the island in a small seclusion from the restaurants located on the shore and as a consequence there are no tourists walking in the evenings. From the pier we reached with our luggage in 7 minutes. The housing is new, very clean and modern. There is a veranda with an open kitchen and a swimming pool, and a room with TV and air conditioning. stunning bathroom with hot water. In the mornings, staff keeping a watch prepare a complimentary breakfast and bring to the kitchen. We will definitely return here.

We had a lovely stay at Sahara Sands while on Gili T for (4) nights. The rental property is tucked behind the main drag on the east side of the island--close to all the action, but enough distance from the party scene too. The best part about our stay here was the lovely staff! Putu and Yen, the house keepers are absolutely amazing people. They will greet you with a warm welcome and give as much guidance as wanted. Putu knows all the "key" spots on the island and is more then happy to show you the ropes. She is a true gem, one of the friendliest souls I've ever met. Putu will set you up with peddle bike rentals as soon as you arrive, this is your transportation to get around. Def make your way down the path toward the west side of the island for sunset--unbelievable. Breakfast is prepared every morning at your leisure and the staff will even do your laundry if needed. Hope this feedback helps with your decision. You won't be disappointed here, I promise!

I was with my wife and two friends in Gilis T. We found Sahara sands as a very chilli place, the blue room is lovely and the staff is so friendly. The place is close to the beach and in a quiet street, far from the noisy nights.

A fantastic, relaxing property close, but not too close to the main bars & restaurants, highly recommended along with Ika's banana pancakes for breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at Helenas place. Putu (the housekerper) was really friendly, helpful and organized for us a snorkeling trip. One room is quite bigger than the other one and has a beautiful terrace to relax. The ac on this room worked but because of the high ceiling and the big size of the room it was only possible to cool the room down a little bit. Ac in other room worked well. For us Europeans with not many ac s atound ok. The wifi worked part time but was rather slow, but still ok.

Villa was easy to find and was as described. Especially the room upstairs was vey nice. Staff was very helpful and the location was great. Short walk to beach, restaurants and bars, but still peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Still I recommend renting bicycles as it is very quick way to explore the island. Staff also arranged a fishing boat ride to Gili Meno at a good price. All in all very pleasant stay!

Great little spot on the beach by all of the restaurants, pools and bars. For the price it was definitely a steal. The only problem was that the power and water went out on the last day.

Our stay was fine. Gary doesn't appear to be based in Gili T but Eco managed the check in without problems. Would've liked more of an introduction to the island/area and things to do, but when we ask we did get some answers and the rest we worked out for ourselves. Location's the best thing about this airbnb!

Seaheaven was perfect for our needs - central location, very clean and literally steps from the ocean! Couldn't be happier with the place.

The hut is in an amazing place! Very close to where you get dropped off and on the Main Street and soooo close to the main beach looking out to Gili Meno. The guys from the coconut restaurant we helpful as well when we arrived. Even though it's on the Main Street it's very peaceful at night. You can hire bikes and cycle around the island, if you cycle through the island you get to see coconut plantations. The other side is quieter and the sunsets are beautiful! Thanks Gary for a lovely stay! I would highly recommend this place!!

clean basic room, perfect for if you don't plan on spending much time in the room but otherwise would need to stay elsewhere as it doesnt have drinking water/bar fridge/tv and what not

The room was in a great location, looked amazing and super clean! We had everything we needed and the boys at the coconut beach bar adjacent were really helpful and we had a great time. Couldn't recommend it any higher. Also, the aircon was so cold and nice to escape the heat when you needed it. Gary was really helpful and responded straight away with any questions we had.

I pregi di questa casa sono : il panorama, la posizione ( al centro ma non nel bordello) il terrazzino e la disponibilità di Eko ( suppongo un dipendente del proprietario). La vera pecca è la pulizia, non so cosa intendano per "clean" i vari inglesi, americani e australiani che hanno soggiornato e recensito questo posto ma quando strusciavi un fazzoletto sul pavimento ( che ammetto sia un legno difficile da pulire ma non impossibile) usciva nero. Il bagno è all'aperto ( ovvero la parte superiore del muro sotto il tetto non esiste) ma non abbiamo mai trovati animali. Solo una sera c'era una puzza (veniva da fuori) tale che non abbiamo potuto utilizzare il bagno per un paio d'ore.

David made us feel very welcome in his lovely house. The place was spotless and everything had been thought of. Breakfast was a feast which we ate outside on the patio . It was a shame we did not stay longer . We even had free use of bikes to explore the island. On that note re transport I'd ask everyone not to use the ponies.

Great accommodation from start to finish! David and co made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door and that great hospitality continued throughout the whole stay. I would definitely recommend and hopefully one day revisit.

David's place was very nice, not too hard to find. Sandra was really helpful, easy to talk with and quickly found solutions to all our requests. The place was clean, breakfast was delicious and plenty, staff was very responsive. Ideal for 4-5 people who would like to spend some time on Gili T. on a budget.

L'accueil (présentation de l'ile, conseils, etc...) et la communication sont parfaits. Les petits déjeuner sont excellents. Photos conformes. Emplacement central. Par contre, nous avons eu beaucoup de coupure d'eau et d'électricité, le wifi était très lent. L'eau chaude a marché seulement le premier jour. Quand nous avons signalé les problèmes, on nous a dit que cela venait des opérateurs (pourtant le quartier était éclairé et l'arrivée d'eau à l'entrée de la maison fonctionnait). Nous sommes restés 3 nuits supplémentaires dans un Hotel juste à côté et nous n'avons pas connu ce genre de problème pour un prix inférieur de moitié. Le rapport qualité/prix nous semble mauvais en comparaison avec ce que nous avons vécu dans l'hôtel.

David was a great host and gave us a great booklet to become acquainted with the island. He offered us free breakfast and use of the Bicycles. I would highly recommend him to any future guests.

My friends and I had a great time here. The apartment is a short walk from all the action and David gave us some great recommendations for places to go on the island. Both David and staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay which we greatly appreciated. Breakfast on the terrace was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again if I return!

We found this place in somewhat short notice and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Adam was very helpful getting us sorted out and on our way to the sights and sounds of Gili Trawangan. The bungalow is a brief walk from most of the action but also nice and quite at night. The staff was awesome and was quick to resolve any minor issues we had. If we head back this way in the future, we will definitely be looking up Galway Bay. Thanks again guys!

Amazing!!!

The host were very warm and friendly.Upon arrival they welcomed us with cold towels and a plate of fresh water melons as the weather was very humid and hot.We also had all the information given by claudia which really made us explore the island easily. How could i not rite about the yummy pancakes madhe made for us,it was so delecious.Also the night before we were leaving we had a jamming session,Madhe on guitar and rest of us singing. the place is just few walks away from the beach and the port approx 15 min.We enjoyed our trip anlot and taking beautiful memories with us just to cime back again. cheers Nisha/mladen

Our stay at Madé and Claudia's was one of the best. The bungalow is very clean, the bed is comfy and it's in a calm place. There's a lot of good and cheap restaurants nearby, and the beach is in few minutes walk away. Madé and Claudia are lovely, they make you feel confortable and feel like home very fast. Claudia is very helpful, she has a lot of tips on restaurants, transportation etc. She was also kind to answer all our questions about Indonésiens and their life, we learnt some interesting stuff :) Madé is kind and funny, the evening we spend with them while Madé was playing the guitar will stay a lovely memory of our vacations! We enjoyed a lot our stay and we would love to come back!

Made and Claudia go out of their way to make their guests feel at home. I think that for the hospitality they provide, the cost of the bungalows is under-valued. If we come back to Gili Meno there will be no question where we'll stay. Made's breakfast is bomb and the area is located more inland next to the best (and cheapest) local restaurants offering real Indonesian cuisine. Cheers!

We had the best time staying at Meno Madia. Claudia and Made were extremely helpful and accomodating. The bungalow was very comfortable with everything that we needed and in a great location. Breakfast was great. All in all it was an amazing stay and the best experience on Gili Meno. We highly recommend :) thank you!

1) Claudia and Madé are fab hosts, so welcoming and accommodating. The communication beforehand was great and they helped us even on transport over to the island. They share so much about the island and many a great tip of what to do and where to snorkel and eat! They were the perfect hosts for us. 2) location; Gili Meno is a small island but this being set back in the village a little allowed for more exploring, and a greater feel of being part of the island life. Plus it was only 5 mins to the beach and turtle haven anyway! What more could you ask for. 3) Lumbungs; they were so cosy and definitely as per the image and description. The extra addition of the fan made a huge difference, we didn't use the A/C at all because the fan was so powerful! 4) Breakfast and coffee; Madé makes one hell of a pancake which you must try. The banana and jack fruit pancake was amazing and it was great to sample a freshly picked papaya from their gardens too! Highly recommend for a chilled few nights on Meno. P.s. a torch is recommended because the island is pretty dark at night.

We enjoyed our stay at Joan! She is an amazing woman and really helpful. She and her husband helped us getting cheaper tickets for the fast boat. The location is also great! Far enough to not hear the party sounds, but close enough to walk from the beach. Overall a great place!

We had a great time staying here. Joan is super sweet and accommodating. The bed was really big and comfy and breakfast was really nice.

During my stay at Johanna and An house I had a wonderful time. They are kind people who are going to help you with whatever you need. Additionally, the place is comfortable and quiet. I strongly recomend this place to stay at Gili Trawangan.

We really liked our stay at Gili Trawangan at Joan's. We stayed at their apartment for three nights. We love the beach and the clear blue water, the cafes and restaurants and the area for parties. Seeing the sunset at "Malibus Bar" at the other side of the island was incredible!! We would love to repeat again if we would come back to Bali/Lombok! Thanks for everything, Johanna, her husband An an their staff "Jung" are really friendly to their guests and help you with whatever you need. Johanna is a nice and considerate host, she gave me a lot of tips on how to explore Gili T. It is a nice clean place, near the harbor which is very good. You can just follow the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map. Breakfasts is good too.

Over het algemeen waren we redelijk tevreden over deze accommodatie. Wat echter jammer was is dat onze kamer niet lekker rook (een soort rioollucht) en dat onze lakens niet echt schoon waren. Als je op zoek bent naar een accomodatie waar een zeer losse sfeer hangt en niet gesteld bent op erg veel luxe dan is het wel een aanrader. Het had iets weg van een hostel. Voor ons was het helaas iets te primitief. Over het algemeen was het personeel wel erg aardig. Zo mochten we bijvoorbeeld onze bagage achterlaten nadat we waren uitgecheckt. We hadden wel iets meer verwacht voor 80 euro.

Het verblijf was echt goed. Onze prive kamer was schoon, alleen koud water. Maar ik vond het wel lekker met het warm weer. Bij de bar kon je relaxen en zwemmen. Je ontmoet veel andere toeristen, dus dat was erg gezellig! Als ik weer naar Gili Trawangan ga, zou ik hier zeker nog een keer willen verblijven

Broken Compass is a ideal stay for backpackers or couples/friends travelling on a Budget. We stayed at a double room wich was absolutely clean and with a modern bathroom. The whole hostel complex is very lovely and all the People staying there were easy going. Additionally the breakfast with pancakes is included and very tasty. So we really felt comfortable staying there and would definitely come back! :)

Hands down one of the best weeks of my life. I was meant to stay at the Broken Compass for three nights and ended up staying for a week. The staff are awesome - they know everyone's name and will have a laugh with you. This is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. A great pool. Met some really cool people and I arrived as a solo traveller. I've never written a hostel review before - but this place deserves one. Don't hesitate - BOOK THIS PLACE NOW! Ps eat the Sunday roast.

Ideal for backpackers and travelling couples on a budget. Although the pools aren't quite finished yet (as of the beginning of June) everything else is a very high standard for a backpackers other than the wifi which is a bit inconsistent even by Bali/Gili's standards.

Villa and resort were fantastic. Professional staff, right on the beach, lovely pool, restaurant on the beach, buffet breakfast. Bike rental to explore the island close by. Could hear music from Gili T but it's not going to wake you up. Definitely stay here, but just a little tip, go to the village to do your laundry as the resort is too expensive for the simple service it provides

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage didn't have a beach view but it was like thirty steps or so to the beach front. The cottage was a bit small but it wasn't a problem. We were on our honeymoon and they arranged a nice flower petal design for us. The beach was beautiful and private but not a sandy bottom, very rocky and sharp with coral so you must wear shoes when you go in the water. We went snorkeling and you can see tons of fish, the water is beautiful and clean. I was VERY impressed with the restaurant. We ate there many times and each meal was fresh and delicious. The wifi was okay but a little spotty at times. The employees were some of the best I've ever dealt with. They are sincere and caring. We would absolutely stay here again. What we loved was how quiet and peaceful and not crowded it was!

We've have just returned home after our lovely 6 day stay in Villa Santai on Gili Meno. James and Louise were brilliant hosts, they were really helpful. Before we'd even arrived we were in contact with them and they (very kindly) put us contact with the best company to use for the fast boat to Gili Meno. The villa is really peaceful and beautifully designed. We spent most of our days lazing around the pool and reading which was exactly what we'd planned to do after a busy couple of weeks of travelling. We both really enjoyed the breakfast provided which consisted of a mixture of tropical fruits, toast and tea. The Villa itself is positioned right in the middle of the island which is perfect as it means nothing is more than about a 10 minute walk away! James and Louise were really approachable and helped us with all our questions and provided us with great recommendations for places to eat. Our stay at Villa Santai was perfect, I would highly recommend to others looking for a relaxed peaceful tropical island experience.

Un petit bout de paradis au paradis, la villa est magnifique, encore + belle qu'en photo, l'eau de la piscine est à bonne température, facile d'y entrer mais aussi rafraîchissante. Tout est fait avec du matériel naturel (bambou, bois, ...) jai adoré !! On a l'impression de vivre en harmonie avec la nature (tout en aillant le confort) Les Hôtes sont très accueillants, et disponibles. Toujours prêts à rendre service Les services proposés sont très agréables (vélo, petit déjeuner). Une chose est sur je recommande cette villa, et si jamais je suis de retour à Gili Meno, cest ici que j'irais ! il faut adorer la nature, et le côté sauvage de l'île, ce qui fait tt son charme.

Gili Meno is stunning and the beaches were great. This house is lovingly built with lots of gorgeous details. It's spacious and quiet, plus you have lots of privacy. But if you ever need anything, James and Louise are right next door and able to help with every little question you have! They are the sweetest hosts. We were there during the rainy season so the mosquitos were in full force. Alas this is nature and there is little we could do about it. We finally realized that sleeping with fan was much more effective than the mosquito net so take note if you're there during the same time. Otherwise it was a great time, with speedy internet, and a kitchen too. If you're going there for a longer period of time, we suggest bringing some groceries from the mainland and cooking for yourself. It's fun, and for the most part, tastier than the restaurants on the island.

This place was an absolute gem on Gili Meno, nestled in the middle of the island away from the beaches you get a real feel of the island and the beach is just a short walk away. The house was absolutely stunning and the private pool was divine. Bicycles and snorkel equipment were free to borrow and our hosts couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast and coffee was brought to us every morning which was delicious. we were so chuffed with our stay here and the value for money was amazing. Would highly recommend this place for anyone staying on Gili Meno, we didn't want to leave. Thanks so much for contributing to our memories James. :) x

I'd like to start with a fair comment stating I did not do the research for Gili Meno and did not realise it was more for the adventurer liking 2-3 star accommodations in general if looking for value. As a result, this had an impact on my overall impressions. That being said, this venue felt uncared for overall. The sofas, chairs and sun lounger bed were dirty and stained. So much that I had to ask for extra sheets to cover them in order to feel I could relax. Also, the site beside the villa looked as if it were being used as a dumping ground for the property. Being able to see this from the terrace on the 1st floor up (in front of the bedroom) destroyed the feeling of peacefulness and serenity that I was counting on. Also the private pool felt and looked unclean. So much that I didn't feel like I could do more than jump in and out immediately just to cool off. Also to my disappointed was that the place did not feel private. The front gates to the villa could not be locked. There were also large gaps between gate doors make it feel like anyone could look in. The bedroom also did not feel private as it could be seen from the other Villas. This seems to be a common way of building though in the Gilis Just be aware as if your looking for real privacy, this is not the place. I booked this place for 3 nights. In the end I only stayed for 1 and paid extra for two other nights elsewhere as I really needed the rest and relaxation and privacy and cleanliness and neatness are an absolute must for me to be able to do that. Staff were very friendly and wanted to do what they could to make sure I enjoyed my stay. I didn't complain either as didn't feel there was anything they could do and that I could have done a better job of doing my research in order to meet my expectations. All that being said, I got a good price for an accommodation this size so it wasn't a huge dent too my pocket and that made it easy to swallow the loss. In the end I didn't even stay on Meno any longer. Staff did not ask why I was checking out early. From a customer service perspective I do feel that is a basic must.

The bungalow is located just in the middle of the island so you can reach easily all the area of the wonderful gili meno. The bungalow is charming and the feeling inside is great. All the team is nice and ready to help you. Happy to come again!

Great choice! Big spcacious rooms, realy clean and a super friendly en helpful host Gaspar! The also have free bikes to get accross the island. We defenitaly recommend this awesome place.

Gaspar and his staff are super nice!! Very helpful and kind. The place is very clean, shower hot and works perfectly (such a rare pleasure!) Room and facility very clean. The breakfast is good with pancakes or eggs and with a big fruit plate with also tea or coffee. The only thing I have to mention is that I had the room 1, right in front of the reception and this room has no privacy unless to pull all the curtains. Also this room gets the noise from the street right behind the wall and the light of the main door and reception at night which goes straight inside the room. So I recommend you ask for the other rooms that seem to be more private for sure. Also and last thing, the pillows. they are so big that I don't know how people can sleep on it!!... well maybe some like it that way... Otherwise you are 10 min walk from the crazy noisy strip which is good even though the street is dark at night.

The Mandalika cottage was a great place to stay on Gili T. Gaspar also provides a free bike to use while on the island, which is very convenient since it's a bit of a walk from the main road! The breakfasts were great as well!

Room was as described, quiet location but only minutes from the action of Gili T. What made this place special was the staff...they instantly made us feel at home and provided above and beyond service throughout. The free breakfast and free bikes were a great plus! Nous sommes restés 2 nuits dans ce cottage et nous avons apprécié la gentillesse des propriétaires Ainsi que l'emplacement de cette location, 5 min de la plage et assez éloigné du "Boucan nocturne ". Les vélos sont gratuits et la chambre est très spacieuse. Même si nous avons rencontré Gaspar à la fin de notre séjour celui ci était à l'écoute et très gentil. The house is wonderfully designed ! The taste for colors suits the atmosphere there. The staff was helpful too, and prepared early breakfast upon our request. It is highly recommended for couples looking for a quiet getaway place. Overall, a very good experience

This place was absolutely amazing! Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and the condo was clean, wifi was great, AC worked really well. The pool area was the perfect spot to hang out in during the evenings. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Great place to relax!

Lovely accommodation. We had an amazing stay at Meno Suites. We loved the private pool and the whole apartment was very cool and cozy. The three guys working there were so sweet and helpful. If you stay here you have to try Sasak Café. The food there is amazing and you get the most beautiful sunset if you go there for dinner. Only bad thing about Meno Suites is that the breakfast is a bit boring. We lived here for 6 days and got French toast for two days, omelette one day, then French toast again, and last day omelette again.

We booked a last minute trip over to Gili T from Bali, the Gili Paradise was the perfect spot for us. Excellent value for money, clean, with wifi and air con. Great location and breakfast included! We ended up staying an extra night and will definitely go back.

The bungalows were lovely to stay in for 3 nights. They are really close to everything you need in Gili T and the staff can point you in the right direction for snorkelling, bikes and restaurants. It was close to the night life which means noise, but it didn't bother us too much (I can sleep through almost everything). The mosque is also very loud at the bungalows. We were expecting to have hot water for the price we paid but they didn't seem to have it. I was really happy with how clean the bungalows were. The breakfast was good too, especially the omelette.

Lovely place to stay with great staff, they're super helpful. Location is perfect as you can just walk through a path from the place right onto the main road and beach front.

Le personnel est vraiment parfait, un accueil chaleureux, des explications claires, à l'écoute et surtout réactifs en cas de besoins ils sont présents et essayent tant bien que mal à remédier aux problèmes. Petites chambres sympathique, typique, propres, les serviettes étais neuves, celle de plages fournis étais propres. Juste un petit bémol la clim n'étais pas vraiment forte mais s'était supportables et la wi-fi est vraiment pas terrible le debit étais réduit (ce qui est le cas souvent sur les îles Gili) Pour résumer je le conseil fortement.

Super Lage. Leider gab es Probleme mit der Klimaanlage und dem Wasser. Für den Preis könnte man etwas mehr erwarten. Sonst alles top.

Jolie bungalow. La salle de bain est super belle et le hamak est très le fun à avoir pour relaxer sur le balcon. Les déjeuners sont egalement très bien. Super bien placé sur l'île. Proche de tout. Le point négatif est que notre air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas et qu'il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude pour prendre notre douche. Selon le staff, il devrait avoir l'eau chaude et une piscine bientôt.
