“Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen is a must for all visitors to the city, young and old. Tivoli is located just a few minutes’ walk from City Hall, and with the Copenhagen Central Station as its nearest neighbour it is very easy to get to.”

“40 year old area where hippies and other freethinkers live outside/beside the "normal" Copenhagen. All kind of stuff are sold there. The atmosphere is very relaxed especially on a summer day,”

“Big public park, right next to Copenhagen Zoo. You can see the elephants from the park, for free. Ask me or anyone in the park for details.”

Food Court
“Gourmet cuisine and streetfood. Tip: take your food and drinks to Isreals Plads across the street on a sunny day. Tip2: ask for a "real glass" rather than a plastic one - normally you pay a small deposit that you get back when you return the glass.”

Monument / Landmark
“Most visitors go here - but The Little Mermaid is really boring herself. The real attraction here is the surrounding area, where you can get a sense of Denmarks past as a naval superpower. The harbour-area is really scenic, and you could take a stroll on Kastellet, or use the harbour-bus to get across the water to Refshaløen. You could even go to the little handbuilt defence island Trekroner, or take a kayak-trip around the harbour. If your walk takes you north, you can discover Nordhavn - it used to be a harbour for trade and ferryes to Norway, but nowadays its one of the fastest growing parts of Copenhagen.”

Zoo
“Copenhagen Zoo is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We visit the park at least a couple of times a month together with our son. The Zoo facilities are great and you can get a great view and learn a lot about many exotic animals. We recommend visit it when it opens, as the animals activity level are higher and there are less people in the park. Btw. yhey have a fantastic playground for kids up to 7-8 years old ”
