“DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 STATE GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS AROUND SOCIAL DISTANCING, THE PELICAN FEED IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The Pelican Feed takes place on The Entrance waterfront at 3.30pm each day and is one of the Central Coast's most popular tourist attractions, entertaining and educating visitors and residents alike about the area’s own pelican colony. The Pelican Feed started over 20 years ago by staff at Clifford’s fish and chip shop, who would feed the scraps to the pelicans every day. Jimbo’s Seafood then took over the feeding by this time it was a tradition and the pelicans would waddle over to Jimbo’s, crossing what was then a road and demand their fish from staff.”
