Ling was an amazing host and the location was great. Our room was really clean and Ling was very helpful. I would definitely recommend!
It's such a delicate place, not to mention located wonderfully. Ling is quite experienced in hosting that she provides the most convenient and cozy accommodation. Every detail of the decoration, very piece of guidance and introduction, reveals her taste of life and passion for managing this lovely little hotel. Moreover, she cooks perfectly that I got to enjoy my English breakfast in the beautifully decorated dining room! Love it a lot. Thank you so much.
Ling was very welcoming, helping me with my luggage and parking, and sorting me out with a map and discount card for Bath. The room is exactly like the pictures show, just gorgeous! And Ling has it waiting with relaxing music playing! Breakfast is delicious- either help yourself to toast/cereal etc or you could have a big cooked breakfast if you want. The location is close enough to comfortably walk everywhere in Bath- I didn't need to use my car during my trip!
We spent a lovely two days at the Apple Tree B n B. Ling was welcoming from the outset and the room was beautifully presented. We were given excellent tips on activities in Bath, with Ling's advice on the spa particularly useful. Breakfast was generous and well cooked, with an excellent selection available. Would highly reccommend
Lovely clean and central room. Ling was very welcoming. Can't fault it.
Had a lovely stay in the stylish and very comfortable Pippin room. Ling is a great host, very relaxed and accommodating. She makes a fantastic breakfast! The bnb is a short walk into the centre of the city, in a quiet area. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Bath.
We really enjoyed our time in Bath staying with Ling. Our room was very comfortable with attention to lots of little details which we really liked: place to put luggage, hanging space, comfortable bed with lots of pillows, excellent lighting etc. The breakfast was excellent. Ling was very welcoming and helpful and the location great as we could walk to all main attractions. There were stairs which one should be aware of but this was not a worry for us.
We really enjoyed our stayed in Ling's place. The room was so gorgeous and Ling is an outstanding host. The breakfast was generous and typically English. She took time to give us some nice tips for visiting Bath. We recommend this place with no hesitation.

A couples get away for one night in Bath, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Lings beautiful house provided us with everything we needed and more. Only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of Bath it was perfectly placed. The hospitality was exceptional and we were welcomed in a friendly and warm manner. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would recommend it as the best place to stay in Bath.
We had the most wonderful experience here. Ling was fantastic, She went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit to Bath. The rooms were lovely and tidy with an extremely comfortable bed. We were walking distance to everything. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Bath.
Soft bed, clean room, many drinks and snacks are offered in the room. Excellent experience. The best worthy to recommend is the brilliant English breakfast. Ling is very friendly and cook yummy breakfast. The location is near city centre just 5 minutes walk. I'd like back here in this winter.
A wonderful B&B, perfect for a short walk to the spa and shops. Ling was very welcoming and helpful and her B&B very lovely. The room was extremely pleasant, clean and very well equipped with tea, coffee water etc. The breakfast also had a wide range of cooked or noncooked options. We went for the full english, which was delicious. Would definitely stay again.
Ling is a wonderful host!we had a lovely stay here with well prepared breakfast and extremely comfortable room, everything is good and definitely will be first choice if we back to Bath.
The bedroom was very well-kept and the bathroom was clean and fully supplied. And breakfast was delicious! The stay is located near the center of Bath. A very pleasant experience. I wish I could've stayed another day. Thanks for having us, Ling!

Ling is a super friendly host and we've had a great time here during our stay here in bath. The house located very close to the city centre and is well worth the price:) I would go for Ling's house next time I travel here:)
We had an absolutely lovely stay at Ling's bed and breakfast. The room was bright and spotless, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent (try the French toast with Nutella for a decadent treat.) The other guests were also lovely and breakfast was usually a fun group meal with lively discussion about yesterday's sights and today's plans. Free street parking (Ling provides a permit) and a short walk over the bridge into the heart of downtown Bath. Highly recommended staying here for your Bath vacation.
Excellent accommodation, close to the city centre, very nice and cozy room
Brilliant B and B, decorated really nicely very clear en suite. Turned up before check in and lung let us leave are bags in the room so we could get the full day out without having to wait around. The location is. Brilliant and only a few mins walk from the town centre. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Would stay again if in bath.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay in Bath. Your house is beautiful! Great location, spotlessly clean and there are so many beautiful things. Our room was lovely and spacious, shower was great and bed was so comfy. Breakfast was so delicious- we were spoiled for choice!! Thank you for making us so welcome- you were a great host and we would recommend to anyone visiting Bath
Ling's place is very nice, clean and beautiful. It is literally 5 min walking from the city center. Ling and her husband were very nice, recommended us some places and tours. The bedroom was super clean, very comfortable bed and pillows, + the breakfast was delicious! :) Thank you Ling
We had a lovely short stay in Bath with Ling, her family and beautiful cats! The location is fantastic, the boutique hotel is stunning and the rooms are wonderfully big and modern! We where warmly greeted and shown to our room. We had off street parking which was really handy as we where a 2 min walk from the main city centre of Bath! We had a lovely meal in Bills last night and took a slow walk home. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Lots to choose from and again, Ling was a great host. We where able to leave the car and go back in to town after we left, and headed back to London. We will be back! Highly recommended!! - thanks again for a great stay :) - Karen and Jack xx

Top place to stay in Bath. Ling is a really nice host. Very helpful if you have any questions. Good breakfast, room and location!
The Apple Tree guesthouse is in a fantastic location, just 5 mins from the canal and bath city centre. The rooms are clean and comfy with great facilities. Ling is a great host and was helpful when dealing with our questions. She even gave me veggie sausages with my breakfast. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Amazing value for money. P.S. Try the French toast!!
The Apple Tree B&B is the nicest B&B I've ever stayed at. Apple Tree is in a great location, away from the City centre but only 10 minutes walk to all the sights of Bath. Ling is a fantastic host, very warm and welcoming and full of information about beautiful Bath. She is very accommodating and generous and went out of her way to make us both feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and the added touches such as chocolates for Valentines Day and a large bowl of fruit at the entrance underline Ling's commitment to making Apple Tree a wonderful B&B. Our room was lovely, light and airy, and with beautiful linen, a very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and everything needed to make for a memorable stay. Breakfasts were really excellent, and Ling is very willing to provide dishes not on the menu. She is a great cook. I would recommend Apple Tree B&B unreservedly as fabulous place to stay when visiting Bath. We'll certainly be back!
Very nice and clean room~ Ling is so kind~
Ling and her husband are absolutely great hosts! From the moment we stepped in this beautiful guest house they made us feeling very welcomed and we were provided with all the informations that we needed to visit Bath. The Location is just perfect, ten minutes walking from the station and all the sights. Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and served with a smile which really made our day extra special! We would not hesitate to come back and recommend it to our friend!

We arrived at the stated time to a very freiendly greeting from Tony & Jane. After a quick guided tour and explanation of the facilities we were left to our own devices. The room was exactly as described and a perfect retreat for a night or even a week. The welcome pack was more than expected. Although in someones garden you are certainly not overlooked and have your own private area. The room guide is very comprehensive with all the local amenities and we chose Ken's fish bar which we can highly recommend. We had a great nights sleep due to the quiet rural surroundings. In the morning woke up to a squirrel looking for somwhere in the garden to hide his nuts. After feasting on the provided breakfast goodies we packed and handed back the key where Tony and Jane gave us some useful information on parking in Bath as well as the local park and ride. We came down for the weekend to drop our daughter at the university and i am now glad i left it too late to get overnight accommodation in Bath otherwise we would not have found this delightful property. We will certianly use it again if we require ovenight acommodation in the area.
Jane and Tony gave us great directions! Their garden room is tucked away down a small lane. The 'shed' as we affectionately called it was fabulously comfortable. It has everything you need. It is very private too. Weather was stunning. I would thoroughly recommend the best shed in the world for your short break. Thanks for your hospitality Jane and Tony!
Great place to stay. Relaxing and peaceful even with heavy winds and rain. Nice walk up the hill to a convenient bus to Bath allowing some lovely exploring around a wonderful city. Really loved the little touches to make you feel welcome and wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks for a lovely stay.
We cannot say enough about Tony, Jane and their garden cottage. It was the most perfect place to stay. The room has book, movies, and a ton of recommendations for what to do during your stay. The guest book of instructions was very well detailed and provided a ton of knowledge to the reader about the location. The cottage itself it amazing. We never wanted to leave. Everyone in town was welcoming and the area is stunning. Getting to bath was quick and easy which made the location even better. Tony and Jane leave the cottage fully stocked which makes it easy to feel at home. Thank you Tony and Jane for everything! We can only hope that we get back there soon!
Everything was perfect Host were very freindly... Location was perfect and accommodations were awsom
My Mom and I stayed in the Garden Room for one night on our trip to Bath. Tony and Jane were the perfect hosts. Tony was there to greet us and show us around the property. Jane stopped in when she got home to check in on us and to make sure we had everything we needed. They really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It was such a lovely and relaxing space. It was an easy drive to the Park and Ride into Bath. I highly recommend this property and if I am in the area again, I will definitely stay here!
We had the most magical experience. Tony and Jane were thoroughly helpful throughout our whole trip. The cottage was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast items were a lovely touch! Really enjoyed our stay in a beautiful environment! 10/10
Loved the place, location great for walking and visiting the surrounding areas. Just bear in mind when eating out plan and book ahead to eat at some of the pubs/restaurants as they get booked up. Had a great time!

Beth was an amazing host. She gave us loads of great advise on where to go in the area and how to get about, making our stay very smooth and even more enjoyable. The house is amazing, loads of space, a real cost, country feel, we all felt at home. This was my first experience using airbnb and thanks to Beth it was a great one! Highly recommend it. Thanks again Beth!
The Manor House was the perfect accommodation to celebrate my sisters hen weekend in. Such a beautiful setting! As we approached in the dark at night, we could suddenly see the house lit up at the end of the lane, ready for our arrival. It honestly looked magical, elegantly lit and surrounded by lots of greenery. Everyone instantly got excited!! Inside was equally as beautiful. Every room decorated to taste and all the bedrooms were equipped with en-suites. We ended up spending a large part of our weekend in the house as it was so lovely and homely we couldn't resist! Beth was a brilliant host. During the build-up to the weekend she was on hand to answer any questions needed and was very helpful in providing additional information making our stay hassle-free. It was the perfect place for all us girls to get together, relax and have fun for my sisters hen weekend. I would recommend to anyone!!
The whole experience of staying in Beth's delightful house was great. The communication was brilliant (even though we never met). Her housekeeper charlie was lovely and the house and the landscape around was just gorgeous. With its informal atmosphere and two dining rooms it was great place for a dinner party and a family gathering.
We had a fantastic weekend in Manor House. The pictures don't do it justice- so much space, comfortable and a stunning location. The bedrooms are all fab with really comfy beds and quality bedding. Beth was really helpful leaving out a cot and bedding for sofa beds for our kids. The garden is also gorgeous and great for sitting out. We ate next to the roaring fire in the dining room and had lovely brunches in the Victorian glasshouse. Whole weekend was relaxed luxury - highly recommend
We were warmly welcomed into the stunning Manor House which is set in the idyllic countryside. Beth could not have been more helpful answering all my questions and providing advice about what we could explore in the local area. It was the perfect setting to help celebrate a hen do with lots of friends. We had the best weekend!
We can't really fault our stay at The Manor - it was a great place to spend a few days over New Year with a group of friends. Beth was helpful and very responsive in the lead up, even sending drawings of the floor plan so we could understand how the rooms were set up. The Manor has character and plenty of space for 16 of us (both in bedrooms and living room, and the big fully equipped kitchen), set in a beautiful little village which you can walk through and into the countryside (although it was very muddy when we were there). Would highly recommend a stay.
This booking was perfect. Beth was fantastic during the booking process and provided answers to our many questions and queries! The house is amazing and was the perfect venue for our pre-christmas weekend in Bath. The house is simply beautiful and is everything you could hope for if you want to spend time in a lovely, rambling country home. The open fires are just perfect, especially on a cold evening. The kitchen is well equipped and all rooms perfectly comfortable. I had the four poster suite on the first floor landing which was simply luxury. The arrivals process couldn't have been easier and we were left to enjoy our weekend in peace, but still in the knowledge that we could contact Beth or the house keeper at any time. We didn't see much of the local area but did sample the lovely food in the local pub and saw some beautiful countryside on our easy drive in and out to Bath. We will definitely be back in the future.
Fabulous stay. Lovely property and location. Beth gave lots of information. Thanks :)

This is the perfect little house to stay in while exploring beautiful Bath. The grade II listed brew house is bright & spacious, having been carefully renovated (July 2015) to a high standard. It is conveniently located, only 15min walk from central Georgian Bath and great for walks along the nearby picturesque river and canal. The Brew House is a recently converted, former brew house, built in 1795 to supply beer to the main house. Situated on a quiet road, whilst being only 15 mins walk from the centre of Bath. It is a lovely, bright and airy house, decorated in a contemporary, simple, yet unique style. The upper floor, accessed from the street, with high ceilings and exposed oak beams consists of a paneled lobby and open plan kitchen / dining / living space. It is furnished with a four seater dining table and cozy corner sofa and TV. The brand new kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, induction hob, fridge- freezer. The giant fire place is a feature in its own right. Downstairs is the main bedroom with a king size bed and a smaller bedroom with a standard double bed. They have beautiful painted wooden floors. Between the bedrooms is the stylish shower room, with white tiled walls and black slate floor. The whole house is well insulated with new double glazed windows and high spec central heating. The House has been lovingly rebuilt and fitted out in a great mix of old and new, by its craftsman owner. We live next door and are happy to offer recommendations for things to do, or leave you in peace ! The house is ideal for those wishing to exlore beautiful Bath, its stunning countryside and historic architecture and museums. The River Avon and the Kennet & Avon Canal are very nearby. The city also is full of fantastic shops and restaurants. There is free on-street car parking, and a bus service to and from the city centre nearby. Up the road there is a convenience store and down the road is a big super market. Larkhall village is only a short walk away and offers a wonderful deli, green grocers, butchers and a small super market. Walk, cycle, bus, train, taxi, car - your choice. The stairs are quite steep, and we don't have child's stair gates.lees meer
From the moment we got our keys to the moment we left everything was impeccable from Tina and Richard. They pulled out extra stops with all their additional maps and recommendations which left us feeling that we knew where to go and what to see. The apartment itself was lovely, probably just right for up to 3 people as it's quite diddy, but for us it was perfect! Thank you very much!
Thank you SO much for a wonderful stay at The Brew House; my sisters and I loved every minute! It has such a wonderful atmosphere and you have provided absolutely everything needed plus lots of little touches that really give it a homely feeling. We would definitely consider staying again if and when we come to Bath. It was lovely and quiet too which is always a bonus! And we had a delicious meal at The Beaufort pub about five minutes' walk away - would highly recommend it to everyone. The Brew House is ideally situated as it's only about 20 minutes' walk into Bath. Thank you Richard and Tina for being great hosts too. Definitely 10 out of 10! Gill
The Brew House is really well designed and comfortable. It's also much cosier than it looks in the photographs. We appreciated the thoughtfulness which has gone into providing for guests, from the wine, chocolates and milk when we arrived to the information, maps etc. about the area. The kitchen is modern, and well equipped, as is the bathroom with an excellent shower. Richard and Tina were welcoming and responded promptly to any queries. It's in an attractive and quiet area, just about a fifteen minute walk from the city centre, with no problems parking.
Perfect place for a weekend stay in Bath. We didn't spend a lot of time in the flat but it was nice and warm to come back to after a day of walking around in the cold. Nice space and we had everything we needed and the walk into the centre was easy. Would definitely use again.
We had an absolutely lovely stay in Bath. Tina and David, sent us across lots of helpful info before we arrived and were on hand when we arrived late to give us the keys and show us around. Nothing was too much trouble and they kindly kept our bags for us on the day we left. The Brew House is stunning, the pictures don't do it justice! It's immaculate, with everything you need, including milk and fizz (essentials!) It's a short, scenic walk into Bath. Our first visit to this beautiful part of the world, and certainly not our last.
We had a terrific 2-night stay at the Brew House (just wish we could have stayed longer!). It's a beautiful property -- a charming 18th-century structure that's been updated and modernized on the inside (while retaining many of those original charming details). Has everything you need for a stay, it's very comfy, clean, and quiet. We arrived via train from Paddington Station and it was super easy to catch a taxi to the house (cost: 8 pounds, but I believe that was high because of the rush-hour traffic. It only cost 5 pounds the morning we left, when traffic was lighter). Location is excellent, as it's far enough away from the fray to be very quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to walk (about a 25-30 minute walk to the city center). We enjoyed the stroll home especially each night after over-indulging in one of the many fantastic restaurants (check out The Chequers for dinner, delicious!). Check-in was super easy, Richard was there to greet us and show us the ropes. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back for a longer stay.
Tina & Richard's place is fantastic. Very well done renovation! The place was clean and comfortable and we had a very nice welcome. It is also very well equipped and not that long a walk to the center of town. We would stay there again.
This was a beautiful place to stay and in a stunning city. Even though the weather could have been better we loved it, and felt very welcome. The house had everything you could need.

Quietly situated in the small Somerset village of Holcombe, The Cottage is the perfect country getaway. We are 30 minutes south of Bath. Perfect for touring the South West. Family friendly. A hearty farmhouse breakfast is provided of bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. The cosy and well-equipped cottage has been furbished to a high standard. The beautifully decorated bedroom, with an ensuite wet room, offers a stylish and comfortable night’s rest. Fresh linen and towels are included. The open-plan downstairs (lounge/kitchen/diner) is bright and airy with TV, DVD, wifi, ipod station and comfortable sofa that can be opened into a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a three-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The living area opens out onto a private garden and patio with an outdoor fire, perfect for long summer evenings as it catches the last of the sun. There is also a secure storage area to keep bikes. Drying of wet suits is also offered. Breakfast will be served by me every morning from 9am-11am. The Cottage’s central location makes an ideal base for touring the South West, with Bath, Wells and Cheddar Gorge all on your doorstep. Walks and bike rides are definitely a must as the surrounding countryside is breath taking, especially during spring with the daffodils blooming. We can also offer guided walks in our area. Bath is a short car journey away with its literature and music festivals. The Thermae Bath Spa is a wonderful and relaxing way to spend an afternoon. This historic city has many stunning places to visit including the crescents, the Assembly Rooms and Prior Park gardens (where Pride and Prejudice was filmed). The smallest English city of Well is also a short trip away. The cathedral is breath-taking and hosts many delightful concerts. There is also a weekly market with stalls filled with local produce and quirky jewellery. There are several notable National Trust properties in this area: Lytes Cary, Montecute House and Stourhead to name but a few. There are golf courses in Bath and Wells. Frome is a charming town filled with snug tearooms and eccentric little vintage shops. Babington House, a private members house, is just 8miles away and is perfect for tea on the lawn or drinks at their stunning bar. The Mulbury factory shop and Kilver Court retail outlet is just outside Shepton Mallet. The Glastonbury tor is a definite for anyone visiting the area, as is the town itself. There is plenty for kids to do as well. Longleat is just down the road and is always popular. Farleigh Hungerfod has one of the country’s last swimming clubs; wild swimming in the river is perfect for those summer months. The castle is also incredibly exciting. Nunney also has a beautiful castle that the kids are free to run around in. Cheddar Gorge is incredible fun with tours through the caves and rock-climbing for the more adventurous among us. Tennis courts can be found just a short distance away in Writhlington. There are also two charming pubs within walking distance, as is the local village shop. We are very rural so it is best to have a car. There is a limited bus service from the village. lees meer
Fabulous private, self contained accommodation. Claire has provided everything you need for a great stay. It's all very clean and well thought out. I would highly recommend.
On arrival we were welcomed by Claire and Boris, her friendly dog. The cottage itself was lovely, cosy and Claire had provided some essential items (milk, bread, fruit, drinks, etc.). A lovely touch was a homemade lemon drizzle cake! Claire also provided a home cooked breakfast in the morning at our chosen time. Full English one morning and waffles, crispy bacon, cream, maple syrup and fruit compote the next! We were also able to enjoy a meal outside on the patio area of the garden. Claire was also very helpful with her knowledge of the area and suggested areas to visit. On our way home we visited Wells on her recommendation and glad we did. The only small issue was the bathroom, the sloping roof made it slightly awkward in getting to the sink in particular if you're quite tall. Overall it was a lovely weekend away and we wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you Claire!
When we arrived we were so warmly welcomed by Claire and her little dog Boris (so cute!). Claire had even made us chocolate cake. The accommodation was lovely and clean and so comfy, each morning at an agreed time Claire brought us a full English breakfast which was delicious!! We even had her homemade marmalade which is so good I have the jar in my suitcase!! Claire's home is in a very quiet rural setting down beautiful winding lanes, the accommodation has a patio with views of her lovely garden and fruit trees. Although it is very rural it is the perfect base because whether you visit Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Longleat Safari Park, Wookey Hole or spend the day shopping at Clarks Village Outlet Stores all of these were only a 20-30min drive and at night you come back to this beautiful quiet place to rest. There are lots of info leaflets to browse if you want to know about other attractions, of which there are many, and Claire herself was great for information about things to see and do. We spent 3 nights there and we loved it! I don't think we had lunch any day out, such was the quality of breakfast. The accommodation has all the facilities you need if you want to be self-catering during the (URL HIDDEN) even has a dishwasher!! which is a lovely touch especially for mothers who usually end up having to wash dishes. We would go back and stay at Claire's him again in a heartbeat.
Lovely, clean and spacious cottage. Perfect for countryside walks or quiet weekends away. Claire was a lovely and friendly host. I do recommend staying in this cottage if you want a relaxing weekend away.
We had a lovely time staying at the cottage. Claire was a lovely host who provided us with a homemade cake upon arrival and an amazing English breakfast each morning. She also had some toys which she lent to my 3year old daughter who absolutely loved playing with them. The cottage was lovely and extremely peaceful. Dinner at the nearby Holcombe inn is highly recommended as is a trip to nearby Wells which is just lovely.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in Claire's cottage for our first wedding anniversary. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is a good size, well looked after and very cozy. The right balance between being accessible to Bath and the surrounding area but just enough away from any hustle and bustle. Claire was a great host who really looked after us. She was on hand with useful information and tips about the area. Her home made breakfasts were a real treat!
We had a wonderful time at Claire's cottage. Claire went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and even baked cakes for us! The setting of the cottage is lovely and the local Inn had gorgeous food.A real home away from home.
This beautiful little cottage ticks all the boxes for a relaxing break just outside of Bath. Location is perfect, set in idyllic rural countryside and still just a 20min drive into Bath. The host Claire, is incredibly thoughtful & welcoming. Her attention to detail is really quite special. I cant recommend it more highly enough.

A fabulously stylish, centrally located one bedroom large 1st floor apartment. A high ceilinged sumptuous interior designed space built in 1789 for Samuel Ward, Salt Merchant of Bath. It's the perfect base for a romantic indulgent weekend away. With far reaching views over the hills of Bath & Prior Park from the luxury super king size bedroom at the rear of the apartment, and views up and down the Grandeur of Great Pulteney Street from the front, a stay in The Salt Merchant's will be a memorable few days away. The apartment is on the whole first floor of our house. There is a shared front door onto the stone cantilevered staircase and then your own private front door into the apartment. We will leave keys for you within the key box at the front door, but do not want to interfere with your privacy unless you need us. We live in the Garden Flat below The Salt Merchant's, so can be on hand if you have any problems or want any advice to make the most out of your stay in Bath. Great Pulteney Street is arguably the grandest Georgian street in Bath and only a 5 minute level stroll from Central Bath. Bath Spa train station is only a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute & £5 taxi ride from The Salt Merchant's. We are also on a bus route as well as on the open top bus route. There is on road parking outside the apartment, a car parking permit is included in your nightly charge. Bristol Airport is also only 50 minutes away. The second bed is a large sofa bed in the living room that can be packed away during the day. The shower room is accessed through the main bedroom.lees meer
This is a terrific spot! It is an easy walk into Bath. Louise provides a parking permit which is like gold. Her place is beautiful. Light everywhere, large windows. Wonderfully furnished rooms, including kitchen. Quiet for sleeping. She was very accessible for directions, etc. We'd highly recommend.
We had an absolutely amazing trip! Louise's instructions beforehand were really thorough and helpful, the apartment was stunning and spotlessly clean (and I am fussy!). Huge comfortable bed and impressively stocked kitchen were greatly appreciated. And the prosecco and chocolates in the fridge were just the icing on the cake! The location was perfect, two minutes away from the baths yet still peaceful and tranquil. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone considering bath, we will definitely be back!
We loved staying at the Salt Merchants, it's a beautiful period apartment, very clean, great space with all one could need and to top it all off, it's so central it's unreal. You can walk from the apartment to anywhere in Bath. Just a wonderful stay, first class Airbnb and highly recommended from us.
A wonderful and special experience at a beautifully created apartment. With everything we could wish for in a superb location. Thank you Louise for being so helpful and accommodating to our strict itinerary, this made our stay incredibly smooth and completely enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back:)
An amazing romantic apartment, super clean and tidy in a lovely street, 5minute walk to town. Couldn't have asked for better....!
Great apartment and in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful shops. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay, Louise is so helpful and friendly and we are already looking at dates to visit again. Would highly recommend.
Gorgeous apartment the photos are beautiful but the place itself is even more amazing! Perfect location and everything at your reach. We will be back very soon!!!

Beautiful views of Bath from the rear of the house, including The Royal Crescent and surrounding countryside. Description of the house: My home is a two storey Victorian terraced house in a residential neighbourhood close to local shops and walking distance to the city centre. There are beautiful views of Bath from the rear, including The Royal Crescent, Lansdown Crescent and the treetops of Victoria Park and surrounding countryside. It is spacious and light with high ceilings, stripped wooden floorboards and an eclectic mix of vintage furniture. There are two bedrooms, one with a standard king size bed and the other with a standard double. There is a large, contemporary bathroom, with shower over the bath. The living and dining rooms are open plan. There is a large leather sofa, ornate Victorian fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD player (providing access to Netflix, Amazon etc.), dining table for 4, desk and bookshelves. The books include travel books for the UK, tourist information and leaflets for Bath. The fully equipped kitchen has modern units and appliances, including a double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Crockery, cookware, utensils and cutlery are also provided. There is a small garden to the front of the house and large enclosed garden to the rear, including a patio area with table and chairs. Guests have full use and access to the entire house, apart from the laundry room, which is located in the undercroft. However, there is a launderette and dry cleaners a few minutes walk away on Moorland Road. I am always contactable and can help guests via phone or email with questions about the house, Bath, things to see and do, or travel arrangements. I try to be present to welcome guests, however this is not always possible due to work commitments but keys will be available on your arrival. Oldfield Park is a residential neighbourhood located a short distance south of the city centre. The house is a few streets away from Moorland Road, a vibrant local shopping street which has a good mix of shops including Sainsbury's Local open until 11pm, a family butcher, bakery, green grocer and at the far end on Shaftesbury Road there is the Scala Co-Operative, a larger supermarket. There is also a launderette, dry cleaners, two beauty salons, nail salon, two hairdressers, Lloyds and Nat West banks, a chemist, a fantastic Indian called the Panahar, as well as other takeaways and cafes, my favourite being the Velo Lounge, which has a varied menu and great coffee. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the city centre from the house, which is approximately 1.5 miles. There are no parking charges or permits required for this part of Oldfield Park. You can leave your car anywhere outside the house or the surrounding streets. Oldfield Park train station is just over 5 minutes walk from the house - this is the next station west of Bath Spa station. It takes 15 minutes to get to Bristol Temple Meads from Oldfield Park should you wish to explore Bristol. The no. 10 bus stops at the corner of Moorland Road and Livingstone Road, a few minutes walk from the house. It travels directly to the city centre and, depending on the time of day, takes around 10 minutes and runs every 10/15 minutes up to 11.30pm. A taxi into the city centre costs approximately £7.00. There are some basics in the kitchen to keep you going including a selection of cereals, bread, croissants, jam, milk, tea and coffee. I provide bed linen and towels and there is also a hairdryer, ironing board and iron for guests' use. I try to be flexible with check in and check out times where possible, but as a rule I need to keep to the following times to allow for cleaning: Check in from 3.00pm / Check out by 11.00am. You can have access between 11.00am - 3.00pm to drop off bags, but I will need an approximate arrival time to ensure I am at the house. The price is for the whole house, for up to 4 people. It is not possible to accommodate more than 4 people, sorry.lees meer
We had such an amazing weekend at Paula's house in Bath. The house was so lovely and clean and she had kindly provided us with all of the kitchen basics we needed. Paula was brilliant at suggesting restaurants to go to and so helpful with anything we needed. I would 100% recommend this house to anyone. I hope we can stay there again. :) :)
We stayed at Paula's place for one night and it was really great. The house is amazing! Very large but still cozy and unique. The location is quite good as well. It takes approximately 30 minutes to walk to the city centre of Bath but it is situated in a nice and quiet residential area. Although we didn't meet Paula in person, everything went perfectly fine and she provided us with very good ideas about what to do in Bath. We definitely recommend Paula's place to anyone and would have loved to stay longer than just one night!
Paula's little house in Bath had great location to the city. Easy 20min walk to Roman Baths. Close to local amenities, shops, restaurants etc. House is well presented and had many personal touches. Very comfortable.
One of the greatest airbnb experiences as Paula's house is so amazing: big, convenient, clean and very cozy-we spent wonderful time there even though we stayed for only one night (however,I would definitely like to stay there longer for my next visit to Bath!). The house has got everything you need - very comfortable and spacious bathroom, all kitchen appliances (even some food in cupboards and fridge!), Victorian bedrooms, cozy sitting room with a tv and lots of interesting books - all those things really make one feel like at home! The house is Victorian style with modern kitchen and bathroom, it's just perfect for staying both short or long time. The location is good as well, we were driving everywhere, but you wan also walk to the city centre within 15-20 minutes. Paula is super nice and helpful, her daughter is adorable - they both were cleaning the house before our arrival. I would highly recommend this place and the hosts who made our stay in Bath unforgettable.
We only got to interact with Paula by email and text, but she was easy to communicate with and very friendly. Her home is well located in Bath and very cute and comfy. It's somewhere I could stay for a longer period and cuddle up!

This is one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. The house is beautifully decorated with fantastic finishes and Paula even left breakfast for us. It is about a 5 min walk to the shops and is a great place to explore the city. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb.
A lovely lovely house! Beautiful interior and really high spec. Bath and shower are great to relax in after a long day walking and shopping. Then you can chill out in front of the tv on the cosy sofa with a good array of films to watch. Great communication with Paula. Always happy to reply to questions and helped with suggestions. Great location, a few minutes from oldfield park train station. Or you can take a taxi for £7, or it takes about 15 minutes to walk into the centre of bath. And round the corner from the high street. Perfect for everything when visiting bath. Will be back! A secret find! Thanks.
Vielen Dank! Sehr zu empfehlen!

A rare opportunity to stay in a huge first floor period apartment in one of England's most beautiful cities. Beautifully restored by us and with easy access to the city centre and countryside beyond. The location: The apartment is extremely well located for visitors wanting to explore the historic city of Bath and the surrounding countryside. The centre of Bath is just a 15 minute level walk via the artisan quarter of Walcot Street or the Paragon. The apartment also benefits from easy access to the stunning Kennet and Avon canal, river and countryside which can be explored via a meadow at the rear of the apartment. Locally there are a number of great gastro pubs including our favourite the award winning King William (Bath best gastro pub) and One Beaufort. Morrison's supermarket is just down the road. We provide our own Map of Bath with all our favourite places to eat and drink. The apartment: Occupying the whole first floor of a listed Georgian build dating back to 1750 the apartment is extremely spacious and has been newly restored in a sympathetic period manner with contemporary detailing that respect the grade 2 listed status of the building. The apartment benefits from a huge living room with three large bay windows looking out over the Avon valley with views of central bath one side and the countryside the other. The semi circular balcony offer stunning panoramic view of bath and the surrounding countryside, and makes an ideal place for sundowners on a summers evening. The kitchen is located on one side of the living room and is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast when you tire of the many fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants in Bath. A separate king bedroom and newly refurbished shower room is located off the central hallway. We will provide you with all you need for a comfortable stay including, Led TV with apple TV and Netflix, wireless broadband, Stereo with iPod dock, and of course Egyptian cotton bedding and towels. The apartment is self-catering but to help you get settled in we provide some home-made bread, cereals and a selection of teas, coffee, milk, butter and jams. All facilities We will arrange a time to meet and greet you at the apartment, and we are always available by telephone or in person if required. Places to eat and drink: We have created a map with our very own top ten favourite places to eat, drink and hangout in the centre of Bath. If you don’t have enough energy for town, we recommend our local pub the King William on London Road for drinks and award winning food. Your other local choice is The Beaufort (other direction along London Road) which also serves food and drinks. Local amenities: Morrison’s supermarket and 24 hour cash machine is a 2 minute walk down London Road towards town (turn left outside the apartment). There is also a petrol garage / convenience store further down London Road on the right. Larkhall: (a ‘village’ centre in Bath) containing among other things, two convenience stores (McColl’s and Co-op), a butchers, greengrocers, deli, pub and even a theatre, is just a 5 minute walk away (turn right outside the apartment, cross the road, take the second left up St Saviour’s Road and keep going until you reach Larkhall). Things to see and do: There are loads of things to keep you occupied during your time in Bath; historic sites, buildings, parks and monuments, museums, art galleries, theatres, shops, afternoon tea, walks, boating, bike riding, day trips to Stonehenge, Avebury and the Cotswolds and of course, the Thermae Bath Spa. We have provided some travel books and leaflets to inspire you but if you would like any more information about activities available in Bath the tourist information centre near Bath Abbey is very helpful. Alternatively, if you would like some personal recommendations from us, please feel free to give us a ring (contact details below). If you want to get out of the city and explore the surrounding countryside, the Kennet and Avon canal can be explored via the meadow at the rear of the apartment. To reach the canal, turn left outside the front door, take the first left through a gap in the houses to reach the meadow, walk diagonally left across the field, cross the river, go under the railway and up the slope to the canal. When you get to the canal we recommend walking in the direction towards Bradford on Avon (so the canal will be on your right hand side). After about 1.5 miles you reach a pub called The George. Taxi: If your feet get tired we recommend the local taxi firm ‘V cars’ (phone number hidden)). This Flat is a Gorgeous Location for 2 Adults. Sorry no children, no groups, no pets.lees meer
What a fantastic place Daniel and Anna have. Daniel welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Morning coffee, with the spring light streaming in through the huge sash windows, was a beautiful and serene experience. This was easily the best Airbnb's I've stayed in. A big thank you to our suberb hosts.
Daniel and Anna's apartment was spectacular -- beautiful, comfortable and clean with a great location. We would highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Bath.
Gorgeous apartment within walking distance to the centre of Bath. Our hosts were very helpful, they really had thought of everything! Would highly recommend. Thank you Daniel and Anna for making our visit to bath so special.
A lovely flat and a friendly host made for a great weekend, despite the weather. Thanks
Everything was great and Daniel was very accomodating
Daniel and Anna's apartment is just beautiful. Strikingly adorned with objects of interest (the mason jar lighting, in the living room, and the embroidery panels suspended in the bedroom were two of my personal favourites), and helpfully equipped with the usual conveniences (towels, crockery, cleaning products) as well as some marvellous extras (homemade bread and jam, plus the all important milk needed to top up your tea!). The view from the balcony is simply lovely and the dining table shares this aspect: a brilliant spot for dining. My partner and I were made to feel right at home by Daniel, who greeted us in a warm and friendly manner. A helpful map was provided, with hot spots highlighted, that gave us a great insight into what the city had to offer. The apartment is perfectly situated for easy access to the town (only ten mins away on foot) and to the picturesque canal, with a smattering of handy shops just around the corner, too. I really enjoyed picking blackberries for breakfast from the bushes on the field that surrounds the back of the place. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the apartment to anybody spending time in Bath. Jenny and Henry
We had a lovely stay at Daniel and Anna's apartment. The apartment is beautiful and so well thought out with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. It's also only a 15 minute walk into the centre of town which is really handy. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing time in bath. Thank you Daniel and Anna!
Andrea & Sarah
Our stay at Daniel and Anna's flat has been probably the one of the best we had in almost three years of using AirBnB. Our experience of the warmth and the care in hosting us, the quality of the place and the beauty of the surroundings matches the comments of past AirBnB guests. For this reason the whole stay really deserves 5 stars. Perfect soundtrack for this beautiful apartment: "Drifting" by Andy McKee, "Bensusan" by Michael Hedges, and anything from al local band called Tears For Fears (especially the jolly ones).

Little Orchard is a beautiful Bath stone building which was once the potting sheds and outbuildings for The Orchard. It is a large airy space with a huge cosy bed, woodburner, bath and kitchen area. A perfect retreat 20 minutes from Bath! The Space Little Orchard was converted from what were originally gardeners' potting sheds and outbuildings. It is separate from our house, across our gravelled driveway. It has changed greatly over 200 years and is now a large airy barn style room with a separate bathroom with bath and shower over. There is a small kitchen area with breakfast bar, sink, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and all you need to make breakfast or simple meals. There is also an electric one ring hotplate for crispy bacon or fried eggs! If you would like a welcome pack we can provide cereal, croissants, juice and other breakfast basics for two people at an additional cost of £10. In the main room there is a zip and link super king-sized bed which can be split into two singles. We have a travel cot for small visitors, and can provide fold up beds for small children although floor space is quite limited. The space is not really suitable for 3 adults unless you are all very friendly! We have just installed a lovely woodburner, and will provide logs and kindling. Little Orchard has its own entrance and off road parking space so you can come and go as you wish. There is an outdoor seating area for al fresco breakfasts, and a rustic seat outside the front door. There is a television, DVD player and wi-fi. There is also a bookcase full of books for cosy evenings by the fire. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are all provided. I also provide tea, coffee, and milk. There are two fitted thermostatically controlled electric convector heaters in the main room, a fan heater and heated towel rail in the bathroom and the woodburner. I have just fitted lovely new white blinds which help with a longer lie-in in the mornings! NB You can book for one night apart from Fridays and Saturdays when there is a 2 night minimum stay. Guest Access You can check in any time after 3pm, and please could you be on your way by 10am? I am flexible on timings if I don't have any other bookings so please ask. Little Orchard is totally self contained. You have your own outdoor seating area in the summer with chairs and table and a bench outside the front door. There are two steps up to the front door but otherwise it is all on one level. Interaction with Guests We love to meet our guests and help you to enjoy this lovely part of the world but Little Orchard is your own separate space. You can pop in and out as you please and we are usually on hand if you have any questions. There is an info pack with recommendations for things to do but new restaurants and cafes are opening all the time so do ask me if you want a recommendation for a special meal. The Neighbourhood Little Orchard is set in lovely countryside but within easy reach of a multitude of attractions. You will wake up to the birds singing, and we are situated in a Conservation Area. Bathford is built on Roman remains, it is known as 'the walled village', and in the woods at the top of the lane you can find the remains of the stone quarries that supplied Bath with its beautiful stone. There are some lovely walks from the cottage, and lots of pubs and cafes to visit. One of our favourites is the Mill at Bathampton, by the river. You can get a boat from here into Bath as well. Check the Pulteney Princess for times and cost. There are two pubs in the village - one at the bottom - the Crown Inn - and one at the top. The village shop is open 7 days a week and is a co-operative run by people who live in the village. It has a cafe, and stocks a good range of basics as well as fresh bread and croissants and local produce. The cafe does a mean fried breakfast on a Saturday! There are two golf courses within 3 miles - Kingsdown Golf Club and Cumberwell Golf Club. You can walk down into the valley and in half an hour you will be walking on the Kennet and Avon canal at Bathampton. On most weekends and during the week in school holidays there is a lovely canal boat which serves cakes, sandwiches and coffee, or you can walk or cycle along to the Dundas Aqueduct at Limpley Stoke and hire a boat. You can also hire old 1920's and 30's restored wooden rowing boats and punts at Bathampton Mill and at the Bath Boathouse. There are also two lovely pubs in Bathampton - The Mill on the river and The George on the canal. We are just outside Bath to the East with views from the village of Little Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel lives near here and it was where he wrote his famous song! In Bath you are spoilt for choice with the Roman Baths, the Pump Rooms, the Royal Crescent, the Circus, loads of theatres and restaurants, Bath rugby, Thermae spa - (a rooftop pool experience not to miss, especially at night) Christmas street market, gorgeous Georgian architecture. There are festivals all year round including the famous Mozartfest in November, the literature festival, Jane Austen festival and food festivals. The Music Festival is in May, the Christmas Market around the Abbey in November/December and too many others to mention. Shopping is a joy as there are lots of independent shops and Bath is a very self-contained city. You can also explore the surrounding area into Wiltshire and Somerset. Stonehenge is an easy day trip as are Wells, Salisbury, Tetbury and the Cotswolds and Bristol. The Hauser and Wirth gallery in Bruton with its famous Piet Oudulf garden is about 40 minutes away, and has a great restaurant and exhibitions. National Trust properties in the area include Stourhead, Dyrham Park, Lacock ( Harry Potter filmed here as well as lots of period dramas such as Cranford), Prior Park Gardens , The Courts at Holt, Great Chalfield Manor (some of Wolf Hall was filmed here), and Tyntesfield near Bristol. There are some great restaurants and lots of my guests go out to The Pig at Hun street which is just West of the Bath on the way to the Chew Valley Lakes. There is also the Michelin starred Pony and Trap in Chew Magna run by Josh and Holly Eggleton. In Bath we have the famous Bertinet bakery, Richard Bertinet runs a cookery school here and has a couple of cafes selling his amazing bread and cakes. A great veggie option is Acorn Kitchen for dinner, or the Green Rocket cafe for breakfast or lunch, also Chapel Arts who do lovely homemade flatbreads. If you are vegan try Beyond the Kale in Green Park Station, open during the daytime only. Corkage in Walcot Street, as recommended by Jay Rayner!, is a lovely wine bar with daily changing tapas plates. For a curry try the Rajpoot on the famous Pulteney Bridge, and for Thai, Koh Thai Tapas in Broad Street. The best Italian in Bath is the family run Martini on George Street. There are loads of independent cafes, my favourites are Society Cafe in Kingsmead Square, and Hunter and Son in Shires Yard which also opens in the evening and sells food and craft beer too. I also love The Blue Quail deli on Pulteney Bridge, lots of lovely South African food and cakes. There are a couple of old Bath pubs you shouldn't miss. The Old Green Tree in Green Street, wood panelled and very cosy, The Star on The Paragon, no food just great beer, and The Bell on Walcot Street, bought by locals to save it from closing and a great live music venue. In Batheaston there is Gather - open Tuesday to Saturday, mostly vegetarian with lots of gluten free and great coffee and breakfasts/lunches. If you like cocktails you have to go to the Gin Bar, and The Dark Horse in Kingsmead Square. We have great theatres from the old and venerable Theatre Royal, to smaller places like the Rondo in Larkhall and The Mission Theatre. The best cinema is the Little Theatre by the Spa, there is a little bar and it has great atmosphere. On a weekend head to Green Park Station for the food market on Saturday mornings, and various vintage and antiques markets on Saturdays and Sundays. The bus stop is at the end of the lane, less than a five minute walk, and buses go into Bath every 20 minutes or so. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the centre of the city. You can drive straight down to the village from the M4, junction 20, and then leave your car here for the rest of your stay. Alternatively, arrive in Bath by train and catch the number 3 bus out to the village from the bus station, next to the train station. Make sure you get on the one with Bathford on the front! There are lots of cyclists braving our hill, and you can easily cycle down into the city on the road or the canal. There are also off-road mountain bike trails at Ashton Court in Bristol, and in the Forest of Dean. The famous 'Two Tunnels Greenway' ride is now open through the city on the old Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway linking with National Cycle Route 24. NB For guest safety there is a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector in Little Orchard. If you would like a welcome pack we can provide cereal, croissants, juice and other breakfast basics at an additional cost of £10.lees meer
We really enjoyed staying at Karen's place, it is just a beautiful little gem close to Bath. The place was spotless and Karen was very helpful in accommodating all our needs. We really appreciated the brownies Karen left for our arrival! Really hope to stay here again.
Little Orchard Cottage was wonderful...cosy, very comfortable, great location...close to Bath yet the benefit of small village quiet ambiance. Karen was very welcoming and hosts an exceptional place.
Karen 's place was a brilliant. We were welcomed with a plate of warm brownies and a smile. She was a wonderful host. Highly recommend!
Karen's accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean. She made us feel very welcome. Would recommend this property to other travellers.
A lovely cottage just a few minutes drive from Bath. So cosy with its wood burning stove. Thanks for the brownies!
We had a lovely stay at Karen's gorgeous little barn for our minimoon. It had everything we needed, big comfy bed, peace and quiet and we were even greeted with a bottle of prosecco and homemade brownies. Karen pointed us on a lovely walk straight from the barn, and there's a handy folder too with lots of recommendations. Would definitely recommend the Muddy Duck for lunch or dinner too.
We had a wonderful stay over Xmas. The cottage was fantastic and appreciated the wonderful brownies. We would highly recommend the cottage for its location and comfort. Looking forward to staying again in the near future.
The cottage in Bathford was our first stop from the states so we needed a place to adjust to the new time zone and rest up a bit. It was perfect. Karen's cottage is private, comfortable, functional and beautiful. Lovely place and lovely hostess.

Brenda was very welcoming and very helpful, showing us around the apartment and giving us useful local information. The apartment itself was full of character and very clean. Although fairly compact, the space is used well and the high ceilings and large windows make it feel light and airy. The location is great and everything is within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon.
This was my first visit to Bath and my flight from Inverness was delayed by four hours and Brenda was really lovely and came and collected me in person from the airport bus stop in the center of Bath. She is a really nice person and easy to talk to and she very kindly offered to pick me up as I had had such an awful journey. She took me directly to the flat which was perfect and just as I had expected it to be. Everything was spotless and clean and there was a vase of fresh flowers on the dining table. The large bright sitting room has a high moulded ceiling with beautiful silk drapes at the windows and two chandaliers, as you can see in the picture. The bed which is extremely comfortable folds down from a cleverly designed wood paneled wall unit at the back of the sitting room. The bed and bedding are of five star hotel quality. The kitchen is small but perfect and has all the necessary equipment to cook if you want to. I sat on the lovely little balcony adjacent to the kitchen and over looking the gardens at the back of the house having my breakfast every morning. The fIat is only a ten minute stroll down Henrietta Street and over Pultney Bridge to the center of Bath, I had a really lovely time and I would highly recommend this flat for a couple or a lady on her own.
Lovely flat only short walk away from the very centre of Bath. Brenda was there to meet us when we arrived and was full of helpful recommendations about where to eat etc and how the city is laid out. She'd even bought some fresh flowers and stocked the fridge with a few essentials so we could have a cup of tea and a bite to eat before we headed out. Fold down bed was a bit of fun and was comfortable. Would definitely book again. Thanks, Brenda. X
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this fabulous apartment. Brenda is a charming and very welcoming hostess. The apartment is really well equipped, beautiful and very comfortable with a really lovely welcome pack saving us the dreaded first shop - the last thing you need after a journey. Bath city centre is only a short walk away - and a welcome walk back after eating in any of its delicious restaurants. We can't recommend this lovely place to stay highly enough. Thank you Brenda!
Great communication before our visit from Brenda. Once we arrived Brenda showed us around and made sure we made everything we needed. The apartment had everything we needed and more. The groceries and fresh flowers were a really nice touch. It was a great place for us to chill out and relax for a long weekend. Really close to town too. Parking permit was a great addition. Thank you.
This was an excellent apartment and Brenda was a perfect host. The apartment has loads of character and is a only a ten minute stroll from the centre of bath. The studio apartment was clean, tidy and had all the features necessary for a lovely stay. Brenda even provided breakfast goodies, which was amazing and made a great end to a great stay. Highly recommend people to stay here as a perfect base for exploring glorious Bath.
This is a great apartment 10 minutes from Bath town centre. Very comfortable with extras (bread, butter, milk, toiletries and fresh flowers) provided by the lovely host. There are residents only parking spaces for which a permit is provided on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Brenda met us and showed us around the float. She was cheerful and full of information to make our stay lovely. The flat is conveniently located for everything, especially for the Holborn where my class was taking place.

The return walk is slightly uphill or a regular bus stops opposite our house, or get a taxi from the Abbey or Train Station for £5-£6. The city has lovely parks and gardens for a stroll or picnic. There are several guided tours of Bath, the "Lord Mayors Walk" is free, or you may prefer the light-hearted walk "Laugh at Bath". Also, there are Open Top Bus tours and boat trips on the River Avon. For countryside walks the Kennet & Avon canal path is just around the corner from our house, with bicycle and boat hire nearby. Bath offers great shops, music /literature events, a Thermae Spa and good theatres - often with famous actors and new productions prior to London's West End. In winter, Bath Rugby and the pre-Christmas Market attract visitors from all over. We are on the edge of central Bath and you can visit most sights on foot. The WALK into town takes approx 12 minutes. The BUS costs c £2, TAXI c £6. and regular TRAINS to London, 90 minutes, Bristol 12 mins, South Wales 50 mins. Some Bank Holidays minimum 3 nights - please check Cot or folding bed is available for child 0-16 yrslees meer
Thank you Eileen and Trevor! We received a warm welcome from our hosts who ensured we had everything we would need, including a delicious breakfast tray. Eileen helped us get our bearings and let us know that, although we would be completely undisturbed, they would be available to help should we need it. A very comfortable, cosy and private place to stay with a beautiful garden. This apartment is perfectly located close to a park and minutes from the centre of town. Eileen and Trevor even posted back our 8 month old boy's precious yellow ball! Well saved Eileen :) Thank you so much. We would be very happy to stay with you again and will recommend to friends and family.
Eileen and Trevor were lovely welcoming hosts. We really enjoyed our stay in Bath, many thanks!
Fantastic apartment, has everything you need for a short stay in bath and the garden is beautiful for a lovely sunny morning. Is perfectly located, with just a short 10/15 minute walk into the town through the lovely Sydney gardens. Also close by is the canal which is great if you want a longer stroll into bath.
It is a really nice, clean and comfortable flat with a well equipped kitchen and a huge and beautiful garden that I would strongly recommend. Eileen and Trevor are very friendly and gave us a lot of help too :). Thank you very much indeed!
Fantastic weekend in Bath despite the weather. Great location, walking distance to town and lovely hosts. Would happily recommend!
This is a great place to stay as it is only a 15 minute walk into town and the flat is very clean and cosy. Eileen is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. We particularly enjoyed the prosecco in the breakfast basket! Eileen also let us leave our bags at the flat after we checked out which was really helpful. Highly recommended.
Me and my partner were lucky enough to find this apartment to stay for the evening. It's in a great location, just a 10 minute walk through the park to city centre. It's perfect for taking a stroll down the canals and park and also for accessing the city. We could not have asked for nicer hosts, very welcoming. The apartment was also a lovely space to relax, we will definitely be coming back. Thanks Eileen and Trevor
Great flat, kitchen is small but ideal for light cooking! Bed was incredibly comfortable. Great size for a weekend break for 2. Lovely greeting when we arrived and lots of information of Bath was provided. Overall great weekend place to stay, and great location. Very easy to walk directly into town. Only downside is that it's a converted downstairs of a house into a flat therefore privacy was quite limited as the landlord stays upstairs.

Very good, thanks for your hospitality.
[+] Central. Clean. Robin's obviously friendly. But my mom observed some unwanted pet furs. Was as advetised [-] Nearly none.
Our stay in Bath was lovely. Robin welcomed us, gave us a map and directed us to the centre of the city. The apartment was in a great location (with parking) and we could walk everywhere but it was also really quite. It would be a great place to stay for a few nights with lots of kitchen equipment and lounge area.
Wow! Robin is an excellent host. Very communicative before and during the stay. He provided information about sites to see. Having an entire apartment was excellent, comfy bed, quiet and peaceful surroundings. Loved having the windows open to hear the birds in the back garden. We found it easy to get to and from the sites. Our overall experience was 5 star excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever plan a trip back we will definitely contact Robin about staying here again.
Lovely place and excellent location! Robin was very friendly and welcoming.
This is a great place to stay. The apartment is clean, bright and comfortable, with TV, WiFi and loads of DVDs and books to choose from. We really felt at home and our dog did too! Robin and Carol are very welcoming, and more than happy to help with any information or anything you need. A really nice touch is the breakfast offerings To be found waiting for you on arrival. The setting is very peaceful -- situated near the beautiful canal and locks, and we woke to birdsong each morning. It's a beautiful 10 minute walk along the canal, past the cricket club in to town, and only 10 mins walk to the train station. What more can I say? Highly recommended! Thanks, Robin, Carol and the mutts!
This is my favorite rental to date! Robyn and his wife have converted their upstairs into a spacious and cheerful one-bedroom flat, complete with a large working kitchen stocked with everything you could want for breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable and the living area with tv was a lovely place to hang out after exploring Bath's wonders. I can't wait to come back!
We were made to feel like welcome returning friends more than guests. Such an enjoyable experience!

Fantastic apartment. Lovely light flat with glorious high ceiling giving you a real luxury pad to stay. Location could not be better, as you open the door and you're straight into Bath centre. Maureen was fantastic - warm greeting and recommended some great sites in the city to visit during our stay. Think you'd struggle to find a better flat in a better location in Bath. Would recommend this flat to anyone thinking of traveling to Bath.
Lovely place - spacious and excellent location. Shops and sightseeing all in walking distance. (Also,if you're looking for somewhere to eat we'd highly recommend the Circus Restaurant).
Maureen made our stay very relaxing- the apartment was in a great location, and was lovely. Loved the robes. The perfect setting to explore Bath.
Wow. What a truly hidden gem. A phenomenal apartment in a phenomenal location, if you want to be in the centre of town, this is the place for you. An amazing mix of architecture, 21st century technology and original features. Maureen is a lovely host too!
Maureen's flat is in the perfect location, right near all the best shops and restaurants, it's stylishly decorated and feels spacious but still homely, we would definitely stay again!
A wonderful apartment which entirely lives up to - or exceeds - it's online image. Light, airy, spacious and luxurious, it's a wonderful base for exploring the city. You couldn't choose a more central location for all destinations. The wonderful hosts were charming, welcoming, helpful and generous. The bottle of Prosecco left for us to enjoy was a most thoughtful and unexpected gift which made us feel really spoiled. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at this wonderful apartment. Maureen is an excellent host and was so kind to leave us a bottle of prosecco. The apartment was perfectly situated for shopping, great for popping back with your bags and lots of fantastic restaurants and bars all close by. We would definitely stay here again!!

Our house is a 1940s semi-detached building in a quiet residential area not far from the centre of Bath. We can offer one of our two sitting rooms which converts into a private bedroom. A sofa bed folds out to a king size comfortable double bed. All our bedding is made of 100% cotton and towels and hairdryer are provided. There is also a very small single bedroom (just space for sleeping in a full size single bed) available upstairs. It is very quiet in our street at night and many guests have commented on how well they have slept here. Bathroom and kitchen are shared with the host family. Guests are welcome to help themselves to hot drinks at all times and to store items of food in the fridge. You will enjoy great views across the valley from the garden and its sheltered patio. We are a vegetarian household and provide a wholesome cold buffet style breakfast (muesli/ porridge/ yoghurt/ wholemeal toast or rolls with a number of different spreads or cheeses/ boiled eggs/ fresh fruit and tea, fresh coffee and juice ) included in the price. There is the option of an occasional vegetarian meal with us (by arrangement) when I would ask for a contribution towards the cost. I'm happy to cater for people with special dietary needs provided that you let me know in advance. The house is situated on the north east side of the historical City of Bath, about 30 minutes on foot or less than 10 minutes by car from the centre, yet very close to open countryside with some lovely walks. One of those takes you to an old Norman chapel, surrounded by an old cemetery and a holy well in an enchanting garden. The bus stops opposite the house and takes about 20 minutes to the bus and train station. There's plenty of on-street parking and the neighbourhood is very pleasant. Bath is a popular tourist attraction, with a cosmopolitan ambience but small enough to explore its historical sights and unique architecture on foot. The city has a variety of great restaurants, some of which are very reasonably priced . There are several Indian restaurants where you can bring your own wine, one in fact a mere 5 minute walk from our house. The nearest local shop also is within easy reach on foot. Theatres, cinemas, sport-centres, the famous spa-bath, museums, art galleries, pubs and night-clubs - it's all there. Bristol is 15 mins away by train whilst Salisbury, Oxford and famous sites such as Stonehenge, Avebury, the Cotswolds and Glastonbury or the beaches of the south coast are within easy reach for a day out. Non-smokers. No Pets. Wi-Fi Guests are welcome to sit out on our patio when the weather allows! We have a long garden with a small field at the end, and beautiful views over the countryside to the south east. In summer we often serve breakfast in the garden. Having lived here for a long time, we know all the best places to visit, and we're happy to discuss the local area with guests. We provide a local map and bus timetable too. We are in a quiet suburb with rolling green hills, lovely views, walks into the open countryside 5 minutes from our house, and a 30 minute walk to the city centre, hilly but with great views. The centre of Bath has lots of interesting and unusual shops, and many restaurants and tourist attractions. There is a bus stop right opposite our house, and it takes around 10 minutes to the City centre. To get here from the city, take the No. 6 which is quickest (or the No. 7 but it goes a longer way round), and to return from our house to town take the No. 7 (quickest going to town) or the No. 6. If you feel fit and walk into town there are wonderful views on the way, and it takes 30 minutes.lees meer
Petra and her husband Dick are wonderful, caring people and great communicators, as well. It was hard to believe how quickly our emails were answered. Mom and I showed up two hours early, and they invited us in for coffee while our rooms were made up. When I mentioned that we'd missed breakfast, Petra served us toast with homemade jam, currant and gooseberry, from their backyard garden (which is gorgeous). We ate on the patio in the garden, and had a delightful conversation. The large downstairs bedroom is lovely, with large windows and beautiful light. The small upstairs bedroom is cute and cozy. The house, itself, though small by American standards, is beautifully decorated and charming. I highly recommend staying there. You're in for a treat.
Petra and Dick were warm and considerate hosts. We enjoyed chatting over tea on their lovely terrace then they kindly gave us a lift into town. The house is cosy, clean and comfortable and the breakfast perfect. Sadly we were only able to stay one night but highly recommend it as a place to stay when you visit Bath.
Petra was accommodating with our late arrival and was very welcoming into her home. She and her husband prepared a great breakfast for us and are wonderfully friendly and interesting people.
Really nice experience
Perfect location, room and persons. They provided the information I needed. I will definitely book it again if I come back to Bath. Thanks both!!
My mom and I enjoyed staying at your place. You guys are very nice and hospitable. I would suggest to other to stay there.
Petra and Dick are gracious and welcoming. It is immediately clear that they host airbnb because they really enjoy having guests in their home.

A 'Grand Designs' style self-contained studio with its own parking and private entrance. The studio is a pleasant stroll down to the city centre and on the edge of National Trust countryside. We provide complimentary continental breakfast provisions so our guests can enjoy breakfast in bed! The studio offers a place to relax and a haven from the nearby city bustle. This award winning architect designed apartment is contemporary, but also warm and cosy with a light and airy feel. The living area has a comfortable sofa and armchair as well as a dining table and chairs. It enjoys underfloor heating and electrically operated curtains. It is separated from the deliciously comfortable king size bed and sleeping area by a cleverly designed room divider that offers plenty of storage (including a range of DVDs, board games etc). There is a large T.V, wifi, a DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits and cereals as well as a fridge (with breakfast provisions), separate mini freezer and a washing machine. The shower room is just off the bedroom. Towels and bed linen are provided plus a tower fan for warm nights. We also have a travel cot that can be made available at no cost for very little ones. The studio suits holiday makers who wish to explore and enjoy the World Heritage city of Bath and/or the surrounding areas of Somerset and Wiltshire. It is also ideal for anyone visiting the University of Bath or just looking for somewhere lovely to relax. A parking space near the city is a rare treat in Bath, but at the studio you can enjoy free off road parking on a private drive. The accommodation is accessed via a small spiral staircase from the drive and has its own private entrance off a balcony, part of which is reserved for our guests. We are delighted to greet you personally if we know the time of your arrival and where possible we will be happy to collect you from Bath Spa train or bus station. Alternatively, we can make arrangements to leave a key at the studio. We are happy to include simple self catering breakfast provisions at no cost. There is lots to see and do in Bath and great places to eat out and we would would be delighted to make recommendations to you. The studIo benefits from proximity to both city and countryside. It takes just 20 minutes to wander into the city and the walk takes in spectacular views (or there are buses that run roughly every 10 mins). Should you wish to drive into the centre, there are plenty of car parks. Once there you can wander among the Georgian splendours of the Circle and the Royal Crescent or meander along the less well known avenues, cobbled streets and canal tow paths. There are no end of lovely places to stop for refreshment when the mood takes you and some fantastic award winning restaurants. A trip to the Abbey is well worth making, as is an excursion to one of the many galleries or museums. The Roman Baths offer an amazing glimpse back through time, whilst the modern Thermae Bath Spa is a wonderful way to relax and indulge in some pampering. Bath also offers fantastic shopping as well as great entertainment at the Theatre Royal, the Rondo, the Mission and the Komedia. The studio itself is situated on Bath's skyline, which was purchased by the National Trust many years ago and is a largely flat and very beautiful path which stretches around the 'bowl' of the city. You may like to wander, run or cycle along it. We like to walk to Combe Down, where the Darling Deli offers delicious breakfast and lunches Monday to Saturday. Prior Park Landscaped Gardens and the American Museum are also close by. Widcombe Village itself is at the bottom of the hill. It has a lovely artisan feel and two great restaurants, the White Hart and The Ring 'O' Bells as well as a pub and a small supermarket that is open late. There is another shop at the university offering a wide selection of international food. You are welcome to use the parking space provided for the duration of your stay if you wish, allowing you to travel around by foot, bus, taxi or train (to other destinations). The main bus and train stations are just over 20 minutes walk away down Widcombe Hill, but there are buses roughly every ten minutes (U1 and U18) that take you from near the studio directly into town or to the railway station. There are also plenty of car parks in the city and free places to park in the evening. Widcombe Hill is on the edge of the renowned National Trust Skyline Walk. The stroll down the hill into Bath takes just over 20 minutes and offers great views of the city. If you don't fancy walking down, or indeed back up, you can take the U1 and U18 buses in both directions. The buses run roughly every 10 minutes during the day and continue into the early hours. There are taxis always available from Bath Spa station and plenty of car parks around the city.lees meer
Julie and Ashley's house was beautiful! Well equipped and great location. The tokens on arrival were a very nice touch. Great hosts and will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Hopefully we'll be back again soon! Thanks
This booking was made on behalf of one of our students at University of Bristol, and he has forwarded me the following feedback: "I had a great stay at this Studio in Bath. The location was perfect for 5 min access to the University, and, the 10 min walk into the town centre had some amazing views right across city. The studio was high spec, comfortable, immaculate, and had everything one needed. Julie was an excellent host with great knowledge of the City's attractions. The provisions of breakfast and amenities within the kitchen made mornings easier too! Would highly recommend this place for both visits to the University or the City itself."
This is described as luxury accommodation and it more than lived up to its name. It is more like a modern stylish one bedroom apartment than a studio with plenty of room and loads of storage. It has been beautifully furnished and everything is of the highest quality. The bed is super comfortable and the linen supplied of excellent quality. Julie is just delightful to deal with. She could not have been more helpful or more pleasant. She was so informative and has also supplied an abundance of leaflets and reading material to further assist. She greeted us on arrival and was on hand during our stay if we needed her. Extra things such as the washing machine, a bottle of complimentary wine and games for down times were added bonuses. Breakfast was very well catered for and we had way more than we needed. Lovely walks into town and a very regular bus for the trip back if you want. We loved Widcombe village with its various coffee shops and pubs. The Pulteney Arms Hotel was great for a drink and good value meal. We stayed here for three nights and could not have been more comfortable or better catered for. We highly, highly recommend this air B and B! This is truly excellent value for money!
What a great find Julie & Ashley's studio is. Julie made us feel very welcome. The studio was beautiful clean & comfy with a very comfortable bed. There is a washing machine & air dryer which was great to catch up on washing. Julie provided a lovely breakfast to keep you going for the day. There is a car space right outside the studio door. You can walk down to the city of Bath but there are plenty of buses to take you there & back as it is a steep climb back. Would recommend this lovely Studio for a comfortable stay close to the city of Bath. Thank you Julie & Ashley
We really enjoyed our stay. The accomodation is light and modern and Julie has added some extra touches which makes it very comfortable. Julie is a great host . She is very helpful and suggested a lovely walk into Bath through the neighbouring the fields and past the canal which we enjoyed. We highly recommend this apartment.
Wonderful stay. Julie gave us a great welcome, very thoughtful too. The bed is fantastically comfortable, the studio very well-equipped. A great space to relax in after a busy day in Bath. Great recommendations provided for food etc too.
This studio's charm is matched only by the hosts themselves. Julie and Ashley were very kind and generous throughout our stay in Bath, and the building itself was the perfect place to return to after a day in the city; modern, cosy, and beautifully designed. Cannot recommend enough.

Had a lovely 2 night stay, the worst part was having to come home! Becci and Martin were both very helpful if we ever needed them. Great location (15 mins to centre of Bath). The log cabin is beautifully decorated and the hot tub makes it extra special. Perfect couple of nights away! Thank you! xx
My boyfriend and I loved staying in the 'Posh Lodge' fab decor, very clean and the hot tub was great! I would 100% recommend staying here! Thank you
The lodge was absolutely idilic and in a perfect quiet location. We couldn't of asked for a better place to spend some time over Christmas.
Had a lovely stay here just before Valentines day. The cabin is in a lovely, quiet location and is exactly as described in the listing. Even though we didn't get to meet Rebecca, everything was thought of and made clear to us beforehand. The milk, bread and breakfast things were a lovely touch, as were the chocolates that didn't last long! And of course, the hot tub was just fantastic. Thoroughly recommend.
Our stay in the 'posh shed' was perfect. The setting was lovely, the cabin itself was cosy and the hot tub was great! Becci was brilliant, left us to it and was very responsive to the couple of queries we had once she had left. A short drive away from Bath (which was beautiful!). The added bonus of the weather made this a great trip.
Brilliant host! Rebecca was so pleasant and always on hand if needed, beauty of this place is that Rebecca has already thought of everything you need! Nice and warm cosy cottage with a mind blowing hot tub! Definite must if travelling to bath or even looking for a quiet break from the sounds and lights of the city! Brilliant location for star gazing too! Was able to see Jupiter in the night sky! (Time dependant obviously) Definitely do not hesitate to book with Rebecca once again a brilliant host and excellent experience
This was one of the best couple days of my life :) cabin was amazing and comfortable and pretty luxe. Hot tub made the stay and the privacy and seclusion (even for me, a hardened country girl) was quite something! Cava in the fridge and all the breakfast basics was cherry on the icing on the very huge cake. Coming back... ASAP!
My boyfriend and I had a lovely 2 nights here for his birthday. Becci left us to it and was always on the end of the phone. The cabin and grounds are beautiful as is bath which is a 5 minute drive away!

Close to the canal & country walks, yet situated in the bohemian area of Widcombe with all its pubs, restaurants, supermarket & laundrette. Please allow 20 min at check in time to learn about the basics regarding the flat, set our minds at ease so that your stay can be relaxing. All guests are welcome whether travelling for leisure or work. A calm and stylish small room with wifi and heating that can be regulated. It has free drawers, hangers, a hairdryer. The window overlooks Widcombe Parade/High Street. The front door of the building is turquoise, located between two shops. Visitors need to press the intercom and walk up the stairs to the 1st floor. You have access to a single bedroom and a spacious bathroom shared with me, with a very good hot shower and bath if you wish to use it. In the morning you have access to an open plan sitting/dining room for a self service breakfast included in the price. It is a non-smoking building but if you are desperate there is a communal back courtyard where you can have a smoke or sit with a friend and enjoy a drink in the warm summer sun. To achieve a good mix between privacy and friendly chat, I am available for guests at check in time. Over a cup of tea or coffee I will explain what you need to know regarding the house, give you a set of keys and discuss any queries you might have. Luggage - if you arrive in Bath before 5pm and want to store your luggage, you can leave it at Cafe au lait, opposite the train station. Open Monday - Friday: 7.30 - 18.30 hs, Sat & Sun: 8.30 - 18hs. £3 small bag, £5 any other per item, per day. Unfortunately I am at work and can't receive your luggage earlier. You can also rent bikes on the Kennet & Avon Canal & ride to Bradford on Avon (2hs) The best way to get around Bath is walking, parking is complicated and expensive. It feels very safe to wander back from the town centre even during the long dark winter nights. The Half Penny bridge across the river behind the station, and high street are well lit. As the train & bus station are very close you can go on day trips to nearby towns or villages like Bristol, Bradford on Avon, Freshford, Wellow, Laycock etc. However, if you come by car I can give you a resident's parking ticket for visitors for £1 a day. Great host and great place. Feel like at home! Geraldine is the most welcoming hist I have met so far oin Airbnb
Geraldine was a truly fantastic host. Friendly, and helpful, she made sure if I wanted to experience the city properly, provided walking routes, offered leaflets and maps of local hotspots. She also is a positive and welcoming person, and her property is a wonderfully cosy place, situated in a really decent part of the city. Very much recommended.
Geraldine welcome me with a hot cup of tea and a number of brochures to help me explore the town. The house was amazing , and as a host was more than perfect. She took my heart from the first minute.
I had such a lovely few days staying at Geraldine's! Unfortunately, due to illness I wasn't able to spend as much time with her as I would have liked but nevertheless she was really warm and welcoming and gave me lots of hints and tips about how I could enjoy my time in Bath! Her house is really gorgeous and comfortable and ideally located to explore the surrounding area!
Geraldine made me feel very welcome, I was welcomed with a nice cup of tea and plenty of brochures and advice about things to do in Bath. Due to my schedule I was only there briefly in the evening before having to go out and I left early the next morning. She made sure I'd easily get in later that evening and all I needed for breakfast in the morning was ready for me. Her apartment is lovely and really well kept, Geraldine is very friendly and welcoming. The room is a very nice single room exactly as pictured in the photo. It was a pleasure to stay.

Fantastic location, easy access to town by walking. Hosts were very accommodating. Breakfast is wonderful. Great trail along the Avon River for runners.
I had a great experience staying with Jane and Mark. We were in touch via txt message and we were able to secure an early check in time, which helped me massively. Extremely friendly and approachable company with a spacious room with a view of Bath to die for. Walk into Bath took just under 10 mins, around 15 on the way back. I would recommend staying here for a comfortable, hassle free stay.
Jane and Mark are both lovely and hospitable people who provided a very comfortable stay in Bath for my mum and Gran following my graduation. The view from the main room was magnificent and everything was very clean and pleasant. Highly recommend.
Mark and Jane went far and above what ever a host would be expected to do. I am a solo female traveler from the US and I really appreciated their help. Jane was planning to pick me up at the bus station, but I didn't realize my email with the time didn't go through, was an easy bus ride. Mark took me to pick up my car rental which was huge because it was a lot further away than I thought, plus finding my way back would have been a nightmare. My Garmin wasn't working, so they loaned me one, for my whole trip! Picked me up one evening from (URL HIDDEN) goes on and on. They are easy going hosts and I felt very comfortable. The room was very bright and had beautiful views of Bath, would definitely return.
Highly recommended! Mark & Jane are looking belt people and their home is charming. Breakfast was tasty (especially the very fresh croissant!) Comfortable beds.
The view from Bath does not disappoint. Mark was incredibly nice and picked us up at the bus station and dropped us off at the train station the next morning. The included breakfast was delicious as well. Would suggest this place to anyone!
My husband and I spent a lovely night at Jane and Mark's. They are wonderful hosts. Mark greeted us at the door and showed us around their clean and peaceful home. He made us tea and gave us suggestions for food and drinks in town. We had a great meal based on Mark's suggestion. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the room is amazing! Overall we had a wonderful experience in Bath thanks to Mark and Jane. If ever we have the opportunity to go back to Bath, we will be sure to stay at Mark and Jane's.
The view from the room is amazing. We admired the town night and day! Prepare your stamina when getting back from town though, there is a 'stairway' to heaven. Tom and Jane are a very good host. They offered us hospitality that we couldn't imagine coming from an Airbnb host. We changed the check in time and they are fine with it. Tom also walked down with us to show the shortcut to town. We wanted to use the washing machine and they said that it's too messy down in the basement, so they are willing to take our dirty clothes and wash it for us! We ended up not washing our clothes as we figured that washer is not actually in the listing.
