My husband was born and lived all of his life in Frederick. I moved to Frederick in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and never left. We began building our life together in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) When we retired, he was an accountant and I was part owner of an Engineering and IT firm. We bought this property in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) because it had a large estate on five acres with a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) square foot building shell in the back of our property. I designed the buiding with several purposes in mind. Initially, I needed space for my engineering firm so I designed a large entryway and four rooms (to be used a offices), a full kitchen, and a full bath. Afterwards, I wanted my family and visiting friends to use it for their accommodations. When my engineering firm eventually outgrew the building, I converted it back into a home for my mother. After she was no longer able to take care of herself, I decided it was time to use it for visiting family and friends. I also opened it up on (Hidden by Airbnb) and AirBnB to fill in the vacancies....... and we never looked back.
