Our Harmony Lodge is a wood sided home perched at the top of the bank with picturesque views throughout and can easily accommodate 1 to 8 people based on your desire for privacy. The Harmony Lodge has 2 bedrooms (1 a sleeping loft) furnished with locally crafted Alaskan Spruce log furniture. On the main floor near the one full bathroom and a private bedroom with queen bed and 1 set of twin bunk beds. One full set of linens per bed and one set of towels per guest per stay provided. Spanning the width of upper level of the lodge is a large loft with 1 queen bed and 2 twin day beds. The great room with its large panoramic windows includes a modern kitchen with gas stove/oven, microwave, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, (no dishwasher due to septic system) with a 4 bar stool island counter and a locally crafted spruce dining table that seats 6. For your relaxing pleasure there is a large couch, double recliner, rockers and a flat screen television. The spacious deck offers picturesque viewing of the Kenai Mountains and the Kenai River. There are 1/2 dozen switchbacks to our Kenai River frontage for fishing with waders and your own fishing gear. The Harmony Lodge great room has a wood burning stove, as well as, gas wall thermostat heater that provides all the warmth you may need during your stay. Cable TV, WIFI Internet available in cabin. No laundry available on site.

CLEAN AND DAMAGE: A basic cleaning and sanitizing is provided prior to your arrival and upon your departure on the Lodge and Cabins. Guests are financially responsible for damages and for additional cleaning if necessary due to not leaving the Lodge and Cabin as required in list below: If housekeeping finds the Lodge or Cabin is in an unacceptable condition beyond normal wear and tear; photos will be taken and shared with the renter and an additional charge for actual labor to clean or repair/replace for damage will be charged to your credit card.
You are required to:
•Wash with soap and hot water all dishes, silverware, utensils, glassware, pots & pans and place back in cabinets.
•Remove food items from refrigerator and freezer upon departure.
•Remove your trash and recycling often during rental period and upon final departure and place it in appropriate Borough dumpsters along Funny River Road. It is important, due to bear activity, that no food or trash be left outside or in vehicle and when you cook that you clean up the kitchen shortly thereafter to eliminate the smell of cooked food.
•No fish can be cleaned on property only at river’s edge as per approved river restriction guidelines. Fish can be stored in Lodge or Cabin/s refrigerator or freezers but must be in double sealed freezer bags.

CARETAKER: The caretaker will be on property upon your arrival. Please email (EMAIL HIDDEN) with your reservation name and expected time and date of arrival. No arrival should occur after 9pm or before 4pm unless pre-approved by caretaker.
MAINTENANCE: When maintenance needs arise during your stay (light bulb burns out in a non-reachable place, leaky faucet, toilet runs, grill starter doesn’t work, oven burner not working, etc.), please notify property caretaker. It may be necessary for caretaker or repair personnel to enter the unit during reasonable hours to perform minor repairs and renters are not required to be on premises.
PETS: For the comfort of all our guests we do not allow any pets on the grounds or inside the cabins.
SERVICE ANIMALS: Mobility, visually or hearing impaired persons have the right to be accompanied by an assistance dog trained to provide assistance to the person with respect to the person's impairing condition, on any premises that person rents.
SMOKING: We do not permit smoking inside any of our cabins. Smoking is permitted on the decks and grounds. Please extinguish all cigarettes in ashtrays and dispose of them properly to prevent a fire hazard and keep the grounds well maintained.
PHONE AND EMERGENCIES: Cellular and Internet reception is good for most national carriers on your Smart Phone. If you need to use a land line or the office computer/printer or internet please let the caretaker on property be aware. For emergencies call 911 and provide with address 32280 Moonshine Road, (URL HIDDEN) Also there is a fire station a block away on the paved road. (URL HIDDEN) closest hospital is Central Peninsula Hospital at 250 Hospital Place, (URL HIDDEN) AK 99669 off Kenai Spur Highwa(URL HIDDEN).
WOOD BURNING STOVES: Please make certain your damper is open before lighting a fire and closed when leaving the cabin. All fires need to be fully extinguished prior to leaving the cabin. Wood will be stored in wood shed near sauna and available to guest within reasonable use.
CAMPFIRES only in designated campfire rings and if you start a fire and it gets out of control you will be held personally and financially responsible, so never leave a fire unattended.
HEAT: The Lodge and Cabins have a wall heater for your comfort, but please be sure to turn heater thermostat to 55 degrees when not in them.
WINDOWS & DOORS & LIGHTS: Upon departure be sure that all windows are in their locked position and doors are securely pulled tight and locked. Additionally, turn off all lights to conserve energy.
RV, CAMPERS AND TENTS:: No mobile sleeping units are permitted on the property for additional housing.
Your payment of money or taking possession of the property after receipt of the agreement, is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement, our terms and conditions and your intent to use the property for a vacation rental.
