I was in town for a day and a night visiting my daughter at UNC. I wasn't going to be in my room much and I didn't need any fancy accommodations. This was close, quiet and easy!

If what you're looking for is a convenient location, a clean and private room, and some friendly company, look no further. I came to Chapel Hill to attend an academic conference and stayed in the Back Room of 219 McCauley St. I don't know who Jamar, the listed contact, is; the house is one of several on the premises owned by a UNC sociology professor but looked after full-time by a kind man named Joe and a very attentive housekeeper. The whole place was absolutely clean—no dust, to say nothing of grime. The listed amenities were there and well-stocked. On my way out, after I checked out, Joe saw me going for the bagels again and invited me out to eat hotdogs instead, which he was grilling up for the football game that day—just because. I've never had a better Airbnb experience.

The room was clean and tidy, and actually had more than I expected with a little fridge and microwave in the closet. Directly outside the door of the bedroom is an office that people use, but as it was the weekend, we didn’t overlap much and the gentleman in the office was super friendly and helped us get settled in. The bathroom is off of the office, and my only, very minor, criticism would be it seemed like it’d been used by some tailgaters before we got in, but that’s no big deal. Everything was clean and you couldn’t ask for a better location. Thanks!

Yes, the room is indeed perfect, it's near from the UNC, and convenient for walking there. A good living site choice for the one who comes to visiting the UNC.
