Separate self contained apartment situated in the south wing of a large house, where the owners live. The owners do not live in, or store any personal belongings in the apartment or courtyard.

The apartment consists of a separate bedroom: Queen sized bed. (sleeps 2 guests)
Separate lounge/diner that has a sofa bed and can accomodate 2 further guests (A maximum of 4 guests in total)
Extendable dining table 2 chairs and 2 stools.
Separate Kitchenette with 2 burner hob, small oven with grill and pizza plate, washing machine, dishwashing liquid, liquid soap and washing powder provided free of charge, as well as free tea, coffee, sugar & 2 small cartons milk in the small butlers pantry which contains a kettle, microwave, toaster & Fridge.
Great for families/groups wishing to self cater.
Would suit 1 or 2 couples or a family of up to 4 (1 child =1 guest)
Private entrance and separate shaded courtyard with 2 burner BBQ & grill plate, outdoor table and seating for 4 guests. Washing line to dry clothes.
Clean linen and towels are provided and the apartment is serviced weekly.

Guests have their own separate apartment with private access and private outdoor area (Courtyard).
Karen and Mike are very happy to interact with guests, however this is at the guests request, otherwise we prefer to respect the guests privacy.
Karen & Mike are available to sort out any issues by phone and someone can usually get back to the house within a few hours if there are any problems.

The home owners have 2 large rescue dogs, which are very friendly once introduced. The Neighbours both sides also keep dogs. The dogs do not have access to guest accommodation or private courtyard area.
There is a lockable interconnecting door between the main house and the apartment.

*Please minimise shower times (water usage) in line with WAs water wise guidelines.
*Please turn off Lights and appliances when not in use.
*Air con to be turned off when you leave the apartment and when outside temperatures drop below 21 degrees.
*For stays longer than one week, the apartment will be cleaned and serviced weekly. Clean linen and towels will be provided at this time.
*No non-registered 3rd parties to be invited back to the apartment.
*Quiet residential area: No loud music or antisocial behaviour.

Karen and Mike were fantastic hosts. I was travelling with my husband in first week then by myself for next two weeks. They made sure to check my safety but also respected our privacy. I definitely will go back their place for my next business trip.

Wonderful host, the place was spotlessly clean with Karen coming in every few days to clean up and change sheets etc. We loved it, it was quiet, and a perfect place to base ourselves whilst in Fremantle. Easy public transport into town, and local shops just 5-10 mins walk away. All in all, excellent value with everything you are likely to need including wifi, tv. bbq, washing machine and delightful patio area.

Karen's place is spotless. The published description is accurate. The Italian deli near Beaconsfield IGA is great and the Sunday morning market (Growers Green) at the high school is fun.

My husband (Mike) and I are friendly easy going, helpful people, who would be delighted to have you stay in our apartment. We very much work as a team. We own 2 large rescue dogs, who both had a pretty rough start in life and who may bark if someone approaches the house....however, they do provide good security!

The apartment is designed to ensure your privacy, however there may be some occasional background noise from the main house as the apartment is situated in the South Wing of the main house. Although the space is a self contained apartment and is separate from our living areas, it is part of our home and we very much appreciate it if guests treat it as their home during their stay.

We have provided detailed Airbnb tourist information about where to go and what to see, however are more than happy to chat with you and give you pointers about what to do in Fremantle, Perth and WA. if you want to say Hi or need other information/help, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will pop around, otherwise we will pretty much leave you alone to enjoy your stay in peace.

We have explored the diverse WA coast from Esperance and Albany in the South up to Coral bay and Broome in the North of the state, by road, off roading, air, sea and underwater. We have travelled all over the world and dived in may beautiful locations, but WA is an amazing place and tops the list of our favourite places because it is so diverse. Our interests are our dogs, diving and sailing, so have a keen interest in maintaining a healthy marine environment.

We do like to try to do our bit for the environment and keep our water use (due to the WA water shortage) and carbon footprint to a minimum. This means shorter shower showers and being mindful to turn off appliances/lights when not in use. We very much appreciate it if guests can do the same.

If there are ever any problems with the apartment at any time of the day or night, that cannot wait, please do not hesitate to contact us on the numbers provided.

Life motto: Life is about experiences, not material possessions, so make the most of those and live your life to the fullest!!
