Richard and Natalie are wonderful hosts. They were very responsive. Natalie met us when we arrived and got us settled in. The place is beautiful, clean, and quiet. There is a beautiful fireplace in the middle of the common area, super cozy. The grounds are lovely, with a nice walking path and plenty of open space. Breakfast was a real treat. Highly recommend!
Great place! Lovely little farmhouse in the middle of the woods, Natalie and Richard were great with some really good recommendations, very quiet and relaxing. Also, the area has lots of stuff to do! The walking path in the woods that are part of the farm was awesome! Definitely a recommended spot to stay in the area.
Richard and his wife Nathalie are honestly two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Their accommodations are comfy, large and everything you want in a getaway retreat. I can't say enough nice things about the hosts and their place. It is absolutely lovely and really situated on a Christmas Tree Farm! Richard's wife offers a delicious homecooked breakfast and each room is outfitted with all the amenities of home plus fresh towels and toiletries. This place is an absolute gem and very close to NYC plus dozens of attractions, breweries, restaurants, exciting towns and the Appalachian Trail and more. Honestly, do yourself a favor and BOOK BOOK BOOK!
Amazing! Let me begin by saying that this is not your typical Air BnB; it is a true family run Bed and Breakfast in the most lovely setting! We were greeted by Natalie who saw us pull up and walked across the way from her own home. There were homemade cookies and lots of treats and waters available. There is also a full kitchen there along with an amazing fireplace. The BnB is in a newly built barn in the midst of a Christmas tree farm that is surrounded by wood lands, all visible from the breakfast terrace. Speaking of breakfast: homemade scones, egg souffles, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee, tea, juice, you name it! Natalie's son Rich and his wife live in another neighboring home. Rich had made pathways in the woods for both walking, running or biking. There are three cozy rooms that share a large e common area with a two-sided fireplace. The hosts are gracious and kind! We will definitely be back when we are in the area. And in fact, we will likely come back just to stay there again and to enjoy the nature and beauty of the area!
The Stone Oak Tree Farm was a wonderful venue to spend Christmas morning with my family. We rented all 3 rooms and all were comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and well lit. Bathrooms, televisions, and thermostats in each bedroom gave all their own space. The hosts welcomed us and were available throughout our stay to light the fireplace, serve breakfast, and even bake us a loaf of peasant bread. We will happily return for another visit.
