An original Jacobean manor built in 1620 with stone mullion windows, thick oak beams and yorkstone flags. Lovingly restored as a family home, where tradition meets mod cons from Chalon Kitchen to Linn room-to-room surround sound. Sitting in 17 meadowy acres you'll have an amazing sense of privacy and privilege when staying here.
Whilst the Manor comfortably sleeps 18, the two country cottages on-site can accommodate an extra 10, if required.
A perfect retreat, Crayke Manor is regarded by many locals as the most beautiful home in the County. Not only the cosiness and solidness of the Manor itself but the way it proudly sits in its 17 acre surroundings. Near enough to the nearby village to stroll to the pub and far away enough to have ones own privacy and tranquility.
Toegang voor gasten
Guests can have access to the 1 acre garden, 16 acres of grounds and the stables. Whilst the Manor contains 9 x bedrooms, it can feel just as cosy and welcoming when only a few of the bedrooms (say on 1st floor only) are occupied. For larger groups, there is also a 1-bed cottage (sleeps 2) and a 3-bed cottage (sleeps 6-8) on-site as additional options (not included).

Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
The Manor has hosted various wedding and large social events in the relatively short time it has been available for hire. Guests have enjoyed tailoring the occasion to suit their tastes; dressing-up the covered barn, erecting marquees on the lawns, even hosting silent discos in the front meadow. Given the additional facilities on offer, the prices for such events are bespoke and not included in the Manor rate card. We suggest a visit to the Manor is essential for such an event, to discuss requirements.
No hen or stag parties. No smoking within the Manor or outbuildings.
