Dear Gerard, We are sorry that apparently you had some problems during your stay. When you arrived you told the place was splendid and that you loved it, then we received no messages from you communicating you had problems. The beds are still devices that we could improve, it's true, even if we have never had negative comments about them from guests. You can surely see on the pictures that most are Ikea beds. It's such a pity that you didn't communicate about the problem you encoutered with the falling bed base(s?) (if I understand well your comment) during your stay and gave us a chance to bring a remedy and improve your comfort. I was occuping the house just before you for a week with 5 other people and we didn't face this problem. We left a phone number if you would encounter any problem, and apparently there was one, but what can we do if you don't use it?
Regarding the issue of the flies, this is, unfortunately, a year with a lot of flies (it is quite exceptional) and I am afraid that's due to special weather circumstances we can't control.
This is not a luxury house but we do our very best to keep it simple, beautifull & pleasant, to improve it constantly and to make ourselves available to the needs of our guests, when they let us know.
