I'm sorry Catherine wasn't happy with her stay. We pride ourselves on keeping things clean and many reviews mention how clean our home is despite having pets. While we didn't see much of them during their stay, we do make it a point to check in every morning with our guests. She told use everything was fine and never mentioned any problems. Had she informed us of her experience, we would have taken steps to correct it right away. Frankly though, I was surprised she chose to stay with us. It was clear from the outset she was not anticipating pets in our home and her husband told us he was afraid of dogs. We try to be clear in our profile that we have pets and even feature pictures of them. We also try to be clear about what we have to offer for accommodations and mention that we have a full sized futon to sleep on.
