Terrace house with 3 floors, 4 bedrooms:

Ground floor - Bedroom 1 (double/twin bed), Bedroom 2 (bunk bed), Sitting room (corner sofa bed and tv).

First floor - Bedroom 3 (king sized), Bedroom 4 (king sized bed), Bathroom 1 (large bath with shower attachment, toilet and sink - no stand up shower - with sea view, Bathroom 2 (toilet).

Bottom floor - Kitchen Diner, utility (Exit to terrace/garden)

Garden - sloping gardens set over descending levels with small steps. Bottom level out of action.

De ruimte
The views across Swanage and to the sea are the highlight of the property. It is a 10 minute walk to the town centre and the beach.

Please note that the stairs leading down to the bottom floor are steep, but both my 4 year old and elderly parents manage.

We can provide stair gates, high chair and travel cot on request.

The variety of Swanage activities offer everyone the opportunity to get out in the fresh air and explore this beautiful region of Dorset. The Isle of Purbeck offers everything from gentle walks along the coastal path, to coasteering and horse riding. Swanage is the perfect place to spend a day, week or lifetime if you are an individual who loves the great outdoors. The choice of things to do across the Isle of Purbeck will keep you occupied come rain or shine.

Swanage is situated along the Jurassic Coast; a stunning area of Dorset, a place of outstanding beauty. The town and all the villages close by offer plenty of sport and activities for everyone; young and old, above and below the water. From May through to September it’s possible to get involved in a whole host of activities. You can try coasteering, climbing, kayaking, cycling, walking as well as horse riding. Depending on weather and sea conditions it’s also possible to take part in many outdoor activities during the colder months too.

The Isle of Purbeck is a great place to enjoy the fresh country air. Walk the coastal path, trek inland across the national parks, take a stroll around the historic towns. No matter what level of fitness you have, in Swanage activities and places to visit can be experienced nearly all year round.

Climbing
Whether you’re thinking to join a Swanage climbing school or climb solo, Dorset’s limestone cliffs are a fantastic place to learn or develop your climbing skills. Stretching for more than 3 miles west of Swanage are some of the best limestone cliffs in the south. It’s the perfect environment for Swanage climbing schools to teach beginners how to boulder and climb.

Water Sports
With the sea on your doorstop there is no shortage of water sports around this coastal region. You’re bound to want to give it a go yourself with so many temptations close by. This laid back, family friendly town is the perfect destination for those wishing to try their hand at some water sports. There are so many opportunities for water sports in Swanage.

Walking
Swanage walking trails and coastal paths are a fantastic way to explore the Isle of Purbeck. It’s also a great way to get up close with wildlife and nature, as well as admire the beautiful vistas. The Isle of Purbeck is famous for its spectacular coastal walks and trails along the South West Coast Path and through the national parks.

Horse Riding
Experience horse riding in Swanage along Studland beach or join a group hack along the coastal path. Horse riding is a well-established and widely appreciated activity in Dorset. With almost 1,700 bridleways and 37 byways it’s the perfect region to enjoy group hacks, beach rides and solo riding.

Fishing
Being a seaside town, it’s not uncommon to see lots of people fishing in Swanage. It’s an activity which people have enjoyed for generations, young and old. Spending time in a seaside town like Swanage just wouldn’t be complete without a spot of fishing. It’s possible to fish from the beach, the pier, cliff tops and there are also fishing boat trips too.

Cycling
Swanage cycling routes and trails offer an outdoor enthusiast freedom to explore the Isle of Purbeck at their leisure. The Isle of Purbeck offers fantastic cycling routes for all levels, both on and off the road. Cycling is a great way to explore all the villages and towns that are within close proximity to Swanage.

Must places to Visit whilst on holiday:
1) Corfe Castle (catch the delightful steam train from Swanage town centre)

Corfe Castle is a fortification standing above the village of the same name on the Isle of Purbeck peninsula in the English county of Dorset. Built by William the Conqueror, the castle dates to the 11th century and commands a gap in the Purbeck Hills on the route between Wareham and Swanage. The first phase was one of the earliest castles in England to be built at least partly using stone when the majority were built with earth and timber. Corfe Castle underwent major structural changes in the 12th and 13th centuries.

2) Lulworth Cove
Lulworth Cove is a cove near the village of West Lulworth, on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, southern England. The cove is one of the world's finest examples of such a landform, and is a World Heritage Site and tourist location. It is close to the rock arch of Durdle Door and other Jurassic Coast sites.
