Experience tiny house living in the stunning Olympic Peninsula countryside. As a bonus, bike use is included —Just 1/2 mile to Olympic Discovery Trail! Close to Sequim and Port Angeles events, such as Lavender Festival and Crab Fest. In close proximity to bike/hike trails, lavender farms, wineries, parks, beaches. Upstairs loft bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom w/ shower. A welcome basket of treats upon arrival! Massage, spa/hot tub passes (fee applies). Enjoy country living PNW style!

De ruimte
The double-sided loft has two double beds, both memory foam mattresses. The bedroom loft is accessed via a ladder-like "attic stairway" that folds away when you are on the main level, to save space. The table and chairs can also be folded for additional space on the main level.

There's a grassed area for your private use right next to the Tiny House. There are two folding outdoor chairs, which you may use on your adventures. If you plan to explore after dark while here, there's a porch light to turn on before you leave.

You have a spectacular view of the mountains in Tiny's front yard. Keep your eyes out for our resident deer, the neighboring chickens and sheep, and the American Bald Eagles often seen flying overhead, as well as a barn owl who flies over every dusk. You'll sometimes hear the far-off calls of coyotes, or the morning call of a rooster down the road. The Olympic Discovery Trail nearby makes for a lovely walk--we provide a berry basket for your strolls while the prolific wild berries ripen all across the countryside (ask for help identifying edible berries if needed!).

Recreational (and medicinal) marijuana use is legal in the state of Washington for those over 21. All smoking outdoors only, please! Use an ashtray for putting out cigarettes or other smokes. Please no butts on the ground; thanks!

Lisa is a licensed massage therapist, and there is a massage room onsite, in the main house next to Tiny; ample discounts are given for our AirBnb guests. The onsite hot tub is part of the massage business (see imaginehealthyliving.com for all spa services/amenities)

Trash and recycle bins behind the big house. Used linens and towels can be placed in shower stall before checking out.

Toegang voor gasten
The Tiny House and adjoining small yard is for your private use during your stay. Other parts of the one-acre yard are common areas we and our personal house guests use as well. It's a great large space for playing frisbee, setting up a slack-line, or whatever.

Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
Sequim: It looks like "see-kwim" but it is pronounced "SKWIM!"

Hoodies/sweaters and rain coats are recommended year-round on the Olympic Peninsula. Summers are typically mild and somewhat cool, and winters are usually mild and somewhat cold. This area most often does not see temperatures over about 75*F (even in the summertime), nor does it often dip much below freezing in the coldest months.

Healthcare: there is a walk-in ("urgent care") clinic attached to the Jamestown Family Health facility in Sequim. The closest hospital is Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles.

Our area has 911 emergency call service. Cell phone service can be weak in spots with some carriers; we recommend downloading maps before heading out on excursions, and leaving an itinerary if you plan to go off the beaten path.

Bears are not common in the low-lying areas, but one should use caution if hiking up in the hills. Check with park rangers to get details if you are going on extended hikes. Elk are more plentiful, and beautiful to watch if you are fortunate enough to catch them bounding through the fields. Watch for the elk-crossing signs along roadways--they do make the occasional road crossing, though not very frequently in our immediate area. Never hurts to keep eyes out for them while driving in the country, however!

Jeff is a long-time surfer and great paddleboarder who can point you in the best direction for water activities of any sort.

Locatie

Sequim, Washington, Verenigde Staten

This is Olympic Peninsula countryside at its relaxing best. There are Lavender farms and a couple of farm stands with seasonal produce within a couple miles of the property. Biking and hiking are accessible a half mile from your doorstep.

The property itself is casual, with gardens and lawn overlooking a pastoral farm scene and an amazing view of the Olympic Mountains. There is a large mowed yard on the one-acre property, great for playing frisbee, or just hanging out on lounge chairs to take in the mountain views.

The location feels secluded but is actually 5-10 minutes' drive to in-town activities, shopping and restaurants. Carlsborg (our suburb) is part of Sequim, 25 minutes from Port Angeles, and a beautiful 45 minute drive from the quaint tourist Victorian city of Port Townsend. Tiny is close (5 miles) to the historic Agnew Store--a great place to stop if you just need a few basic groceries, a growler of beer, or a bottle of local wine, including a weekly wine tasting on Thursdays.

Hello travelers! I'm excited to welcome you to Washington's beautiful Olympic Peninsula. I love to dance, garden, travel, and study ethnobotany. Ask about great places to paddle board, surf, hike, or bike in our area. A former chef, I like to bake with local ingredients--including foraged wild foods, which I share with guests in-season. Welcome to PNW Tiny House!

Tijdens je verblijf
We will often be at home on the property, and are most often available by phone or text as well (though we sometimes are without phone access, while out dancing or surfing, so do let us know of any requests/concerns as soon as possible!). When home, we can give you assistance if needed, and enjoy getting to know guests. We enjoy our own private time as well, and so maintain a balance. We also respect your privacy and personal space in Pacific Northwest Tiny House and adjoining private space.
