With a gorgeous view of the Bay, this one-bedroom house is an ideal refuge located in the community of Brisbane. We provide one queen sized bed, a sofa bed, and 2 airbeds w/pump. The house is 35 min. to downtown San Francisco, 12 min. to the airport.
*Please note, the bathroom is located in the bedroom.
The town of Brisbane often compared to Sausalito, is a hidden gem that very few people know of with winding streets and a quaint downtown. Our house is 2.1 miles from the border of San Francisco with easy access to downtown SF or the airport.
Our home is located high in the Brisbane hills, which is why we have such amazing views. That said, I highly recommend a rental car, or your own vehicle. There is public transportation, but it requires a mile walk to the stop and the return walk is all uphill!
Driving times to downtown vary depending on time of day and traffic. During late morning until about 2pm, traffic is relatively light and easy to navigate. During rush hours, it can take up to 45 minutes to reach, for example, Fisherman's Wharf or Chinatown. Please plan accordingly!
Just outside the back door there are trails leading to the San Bruno Mountain State Park. You'll catch glorious sunrises if you're up early enough and, in the early evening, the wonder of a thousand pink sparkles across the Bay.
Our home is strictly limited to four guests at a time.
The house is very comfortable decorated with European antiques and modern textiles. The wrap around living room window gives stunning views with the option of curtains to block out the sun. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and friendly.

The entire home is yours during your stay with private parking for one car. The house is freshly painted with new carpeting, flagstone, and hardwood floors. Wrap-around deck with seating to enjoy the views. Full kitchen with dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, frig, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and toaster oven. Dishes and glassware for 8, and a bay window to enjoy more scenic views.

There are several stairs from the driveway to the front door, but we have installed a walkway leading from the street to the back kitchen door with only one step. If stairs are a challenge or you have a lot of bags, this is the best way to go! We have also installed motion lights at this entrance and in the driveway. There are accent lights on the stairway operated inside the house should you go out and return in the evening.

Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
People always say our house is like being in a tree house, high above everything with ever-changing views of the San Francisco Bay. We have furnished it without our personal items so you can make truly make the home your own during your stay.
We have a coffee plantation in Central America with a fully furnished one-bedroom, one bath, guesthouse. We are currently putting together another listing that will offer our guesthouse, meals, a hands-on experience about how coffee is grown, with overnight stays a the beach, and visits to nearby towns with charming ambiance, shopping, and restaurants. Stay tuned!
We have offered our home as accommodating four people. Please treat our home like it was your own. We ask that on check-out, turn off all lights, make sure all doors and windows are locked, turn down the thermostat (if used), and it would be very appreciated if you have done a lot of cooking, to wash your dishes and pots and pans.
On same day reservations, my cleaning person only has 4 hours to clean the house from top to bottom, including all linens, towels, vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, windows, cleaning the bathroom, etc...I pay her considerably more than I am charging for my cleaning fee. Thank you for your understanding!
There is no smoking inside the house. If you have to smoke, we have left sand-filled pots on the deck, but you are responsible for removing all cigarettes and ash.
Parking is limited to two cars. Please park your cars on the left side of the driveway. The right side needs be left vacant for our other tenant and access to the trash and recycling cans.
The city of Brisbane has strict recycling laws that we must follow. The trashcan under the main stairway is also shared with our tenant.
We ask that you please separate your trash for recycling purposes. Any paper needs to be flattened or broken down and kept apart as well as any plastic containers, and glass bottles. There is another can marked recycling just for this purpose. If everyone follows these guidelines, then the main trashcan should be sufficient for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.
Please be respectful of our neighbors. Our neighborhood is family orientated. Quiet hours begin after 10pm.
Please be careful with the furniture. They are European antiques handed down from our family.
Treat our home like it was your own!
We are Stephanie and Lenny Lind. We have spent most of our lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, but love to travel the world and have connections to Scandinavia. We also grow coffee and chocolate on the side of a volcano, along with 25 beehives, and 29 various animals. From Nino, our horse, to Barney our resident owl, and Benny a baby deer brought to the farm with an injury. Our Central American experience has taught us both about sustainability and leaving a smaller footprint here on earth.
We love to entertain with the family and friends we treasure, and love getting to know new people. Everyone has a unique story. We are both creative people and love photography, building design and construction, reading, art, gardening, cooking, baseball, and Netflix while on the road.
Our motto in life is to always see the good in every moment and try to sooth the rough spots along the way.
