Stoddard, Wisconsin, Verenigde Staten

Nestled between the Majestic Bluffs and the Mighty Mississippi River you will find the Village of Stoddard. Stoddard is a small town with 774 people. For being small, it has a lot to offer.

Stoddard is a four season paradise.

In Winter, there is ice fishing, snowmobiling and skiing. January is when the Stoddard Park Committee has an ice fishing tournament. The Chaseburg Snowtrailers have Trail Days. Snowmobile trails are available to Chaseburg from Stoddard. Mt. La Crosse is 5 miles north of Stoddard for your skiing pleasure.

In Spring, the Stoddard Lioness have their Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. The Stoddard American Legion has their all you can eat Smelt Fry on Good Friday and in April, the Stoddard/Bergen Fire Department puts on an awesome Walleye Tournament. May is the Memorial Day Parade on Main Street that ends at the Stoddard Village Cemetery. The Lions hold their annual Chicken Que at the Stoddard Park afterwards.

July offers Stoddard Park Fun Days, which is sponsored by the Stoddard Park Committee. It's a day of fun for the whole family. We have a kid's fishing tournament, kid's games, food, refreshments and ball games.

The Fall is when the Stoddard/Bergen Fire Department hold their Big Annual Labor Day Weekend Bash. Ball games, Chicken Que, etc. In October, the Stoddard Lions hold the Annual Kids Halloween Party. The kids costumes are judged by local residents. Free hot dogs and pop are given to the children. My family enjoys all outdoor recreational activities. Growing up and living next to the river has made for a lot of fishing, boating and duck hunting. In the winter time the ice fishing is top notch.
