This is a cottage and two outbuildings without running water or electricity on a gorgeous secluded cove in Downeast Maine. There is a gas stove, refrigerator and lights and a composting toilet, as well as an outhouse. It is very comfortable. Water is procured from a well which is a short drive from the cottage. Large buckets and milk jugs are provided for storage. Internet service is by cell phone only.

There is no public transport. The cottage is approximately two hours from the Bangor airport, one hour from Schoodic Point, part of Acadia National Park, and 1 1/2 hours from Bar Harbor.
