First the good, the communication with Tom was excellent from before we got to the apartment and until we left. The building is also great with nice common areas. Unfortunately that is about it. The apartment is like entering to a college's guy room. Definitely not suitable for more than an overnight. No plates, no glass match. Just team logo mugs, not one bowl, only one pan that is so scratch you can't use, one pot. The fridge had rests of food half opened (ie a Pepsi can, eggs, butter, etc...). The towels were still drying on the dryer when we arrived at 10:30pm indicating, to me, he had just left while we were staying. The toilet cabinet had multiple empty paper toilet rolls and only one half one left (we were staying for 5 days). The bed was super hard and the sheets had stains. Location wise unless you are only coming to visit the Strip District you will need to get an uber each time at $10/each way to get to downtown as it is a 40 mins walk from there. In summary, maybe good for an overnight, but not for a longer stay. I would not stay there again.

Hi Sara, Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry your experience wasn't what you expected. It was close to a last minute booking and my cleaning lady had to hurry over after work. Please know that the sheets and towels were all clean. There were two clean towels when you arrived and I told you about the other towels being in the dryer, and assumed that would be better than providing dirty towels. The mattress is a Tempurpedic Memory Foam, nobody has ever complained that it is too firm, most say it is very soft. I told you when you checked in to let me know if you need anything - I would have been happy to provide additional cookware. I work downtown and walk most days (from a nearby building) and it is no more than 25 minutes. From the apartment location to the Convention Center downtown it is 22 minutes according to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps. Also, an Uber ride from the apartment to the Convention Center is $7.61 - essentially the Uber minimum.
Amazing airbnb, renovated modern building with tons of amenities, and Tom had all the essentials you would need for an extended stay (I was only there for one night). Neighborhood is amazing, all the famous food purveyors for plus some cool bars/restaurants. Neighborhood is very quiet as well, I'm from New York but some people that aren't from cities might find it desolate and industrial at first, but trust me this is a super safe and developed area. Almost all the old buildings have turned into luxury condos, modern workspaces, etc. really great place to get a feel for Pittsburgh, centrally located if you want to uber/lyft around.
