As a wildland firefighter, I am in and out of town a lot during the summer months and may not always have mobile phone service when I am not in South Dakota. I do have folks in town ready and willing to help guests and my sister, Veronica, is available by phone, text, and email.
Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
Wildland Lodge has does have an occupied basement apartment where I live with its own private entrance. The staircase between the main floor and the basement apartment is locked and secured. I travel extensively for work during the summer so its likely I will not be around during your visit and you will have the place to yourself.
There is a separate garage as well. I use the garage to store my personal items, so guests will not have access to this area.
During Sturgis and holidays, if you are interested in renting, but need some additional space (for 2 - 4 people), there is the possibility of adding the basement apartment to the rental. Please send me a message with particular dates of interest.
- Guests will use on-street parking.
- The home is in a neighborhood, so guests should be respectful of neighbors, particularly after dark.
- We expect and encourage guests to use the recycling bins in the kitchen. Please rinse food residue out of containers before putting them in bins. While the City of Custer doesn't have curbside pick-up for recycling, I will haul items to a recycling center nearby.
