Perfect for one or two people, The Writer's Studio is fully self-contained.
It has a really comfortable and firm inflatable queen bed.
Away from the main house, it opens out onto a small orchard.
This is a quiet oasis you can enjoy in between exploring all the Barossa has to offer.
It has dining and sitting areas as well as a reading nook in the loft. It has a sofa which can open out for a child if necessary. Or we can set up another inflatable bed in the loft, accessed by a loft ladder.
The Writer's Studio is great for singles or couples.
I originally called it, The Shed, as it was once a hay shed with three walls and a grass floor. It morphed into The Writer's Studio after various friends asked to use it as their retreat to spend time quietly catching up on writing projects.
Wineries abound, as do eating opportunities, ranging from the award winning Appellation at The Louise and fermentAsian (consistently names in the Top 100), to Vintners, Harvest Kitchen, 1918, St Hugo’s and Maggie Beer's Farm. There is also a huge selection of light meal options offered by most of the wineries.

I will usually be there to welcome you, show you around and answer any questions. On the odd occasion when I can't be there, my assistant or a close friend will do the honours. If you have questions during your stay, you can tap on the door or send a text and we will respond quickly.
Andere dingen waar je op moet letten
The Writer's Studio is literally at the bottom of the garden of the main house and there is plenty of street and pavement parking at the front.
I am a full time business coach helping business owners create businesses that work form not because of them. My clients are mainly in Australia, New Zealand and the US, and as long as time zones are compatible I can work with them from anywhere. In the last 18 months I have conducted my client meetings from Jaipur (India), New York, Perth, Sydney, South Australia and San Diego.
Clearly - one of the things I can't live without is travel.
And I can't live without my Kindle - which has lightened my travel load enormously. No more books to carry and leave as I pick up more.
I love great food and wine - I live in a wine region where the two go together.
I am a great guest. Quiet, fun, a reader and a walker.
My life motto is Stride Into Life.
