I so wish we had been able to stay in this country home longer. It is in a gorgeous New England setting, overlooking the white mountains on a peaceful, quiet road outside of Plymouth.
We took a long afternoon walk down the road past antique homes, rolling hills and lush green fields. The fall foliage was beginning, a palette of reds, yellows, greens and all shades in between. New England autumn at its best.
Our private entrance suite, was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated with thoughtful little touches that we appreciated; small packages of biscuits, coffee and tea. The bathroom was bright and clean with a high counter that was long and roomie and stocked with personal items like small paper drinking cups and Q-tips. Another nice touch.
The bedroom was large. It had a king bed with many comfortable pillows. And I loved the quilt. I wonder whether it was handmade by Pamela. I wouldn’t be surprised given all the personal touches and the beautiful garden and greenhouse out back.
We enjoyed meeting Pamela and Peter, albeit briefly. They struck me as folks that would be good friends if we lived in the area.
I couldn’t recommend this New Hampshire oasis more highly. We will be back.
