Thank you for the prompt on the mini fridge. With this heatwave it has been on our "to do" list for weeks. I have ordered a good one - 67 litre capacity with an ice box!
However, the apartment is very clearly advertised as being with no kitchen - due to planning regulations complexity, when we did the renovation and refurbishments over a two year period it simply was not feasible to put a kitchen in. All the details about how to get local breakfasts delivered to the gate, if ordered the night before, are in the information pack. And you can not miss a Bel and Dragon brunch.... Re the second bedroom, it is and is advertised as, a sofa bed with a mattress topper. Our usual very thick topper was at the dry cleaners so we'll go back to using that one rather than the spare whenever we can. We usually set 2 chairs in the lobby and 1 chair in the second bedroom at the desk but we let people know that we also have 2 extra matching chairs and then about 35 extra chairs in the main room upstairs which is always open to guests if not separately booked.
The property is simply beautiful and in a gorgeous area at walking distance to all sorts of fab eateries and you wouldn't get anything like this for less (we checked!). It isn't comparable to being in a hotel - it's something completely different and special and for a two bedroom booking £50 pp isn't off market.
