Nestled up high on a cliff near downtown Montpelier, this spacious 'treehouse' apartment offers great views, privacy, peace and quiet. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the light, rustic charm, the adorable kitchen, the coziness, the claw-foot tub, and retreat-like feel. It takes about 5 minutes to get from my place to downtown and all that Montpelier has to offer. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers or those wanting a quiet personal retreat.
Large, spacious, light-filled one bedroom apartment in old Victorian. Sits high up on a cliff overlooking town, but tucked away in the treetops. Only a 5 minute walk from the quaint downtown. Gas stove & oven, beautiful deep claw-foot tub, high ceilings, adorable kitchen with open shelving, old woodwork and great light make this place a gem. The feel is airy, simple, lofty, Vermonty, cozy and comfortable. If you like cooking, the kitchen is will stocked for that (I am an avid cook) with lots of staples and basic kitchen essentials. This is my primary residence, I rent out when I am out of town, so please treat it as if it were your own. Thank you for loving my space as much as I do!

Feel free to use the entire apartment and washing machine upstairs (no dryer). Laundry soap is in the front hall. The laundry room is shared with the upstairs neighbors, so please be considerate. Drying racks are in the living room closet if you need to do a wash & want to hang some clothing to dry.

If I am in town, I am more than happy to be available to help or advise guests during their stay or by phone as needed. However, since I am mainly renting my space when I am out of town, as this is my home, just call, text or write me on this forum if you need anything. If you cannot reach me for any reason, my upstairs neighbor Angus is GREAT and super helpful as is my land-lady Jane, downstairs. Very friendly house so please be considerate and mindful that others live here.

Please be sure to pay attention to the winter parking ban in Montpelier which means you cannot park on the street over night.
Please let me know if you are confused about the one parking spot which is yours.
Please park only on Ridge Street (not Nelson) or in the parking spot to the left of the house. And, use the far left spot. Just room enough for one car.
